What do you do on Mother’s Day, when she is no longer here?

You think of all the memories, and shed a little tear.

You take a walk in sunshine, feel her warmth in the rays.

You remember all your adventures, all those happy holidays.

You listen for her in the wind, you hear the birds in song.

It lifts you up as she always did, and carries you along.

You close your eyes and stand there, you feel her in your heart.

You realise not even death, can break your bond apart.
