🚨 SCAM ALERT: Fake GP Phone Calls on the Rise 🚨

Counter Fraud Services has reported a sharp increase in scam calls pretending to be from GP practices.

📞 What’s happening?
Members of the public are receiving calls that:
Claim to be from their GP
Ask you to press a button or click a link to update your personal details
Threaten removal from the GP practice list if you don’t respond
May show a foreign location (e.g. Spain) on caller ID

⚠️ What to do:
Hang up immediately if you receive a suspicious call
Do NOT press any buttons or share personal information
Report scam calls to Police Scotland on 101
