Paracetamol in pregnancy

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has reiterated the guidance that paracetamol is safe to take, as per the patient information leaflet, during pregnancy.
The MHRA have further stated there is no evidence taking paracetamol during pregnancy causes autism in children.

We are seeking a pharmacist to join our team. This position is available to cover maternity leave, with the option of a permanent role at the end of the cover period.

In our pharmacies, we prioritise prescribing services. While prescribing experience is preferred, we are committed to supporting professional growth and can provide training.

Many people make an appointment to see their GB when their symptoms can be treated quickly and easily at their local pharmacy. It is always worth visiting your pharmacy first before making an appointment with your GP and perhaps having to wait several days.
