We will be closing the shop on Thursday of this week to carry out maintenance throughout the practice, this will take place from 9am until 5pm and for health and safety reasons we are unable to allow the public onto the premises.

We will reopen as normal from 9am Friday 14th November.

❎️Durham Constabulary will be taking part in Operation Dark Nights over the next two weeks, randomly stopping and checking the vision of drivers in our area!
❎️As the dark nights draw in, this is the perfect time to see your optician and ensure you are fully fit for driving
❎️It is your responsibility as a driver to make sure your eyes are fit for the road every time you get behind the wheel of your car.

Frame choice is crucial when looking at higher prescriptions such as the one shown below, this patient has struggled with the weight and thickness of their previous specs, they've been to numerous opticians in the area and have been unhappy with their outcome.
After a new sight test with Adam and a consultation with Donna, this is what the patient left the practice with. And we are overjoyed to have finally given them a much better quality of life, with a much lighter and thinner pair of glasses.

How many times in a day do you have to repeat yourself because your family member or significant other "can't hear you"..?
