This is a little bit about me… and why I do this work.
For a long time, my body didn’t feel like a safe place to be.

I lived in stress, tension, and survival patterns; even when, on the outside, everything looked fine.
What changed everything for me wasn’t just mindset or thinking differently…

It was understanding the nervous system.
Learning how to regulate, release, and come back into the body in a way that actually feels safe.
That’s what led me to the work I do today.
At Thrive, I support people to move out of chronic stress and reconnect with a state of calm, clarity and balance — not just mentally, but physically and emotionally.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like your body just won’t switch off… you’re not alone.
And it doesn’t have to stay that way.

I’ll be sharing weekly insights, tools and practices around nervous system regulation and embodied awareness, so feel free to follow along on or on

Start your Good Friday differently 🌿

This Friday 3rd April at 9:30am, I’ll be teaching a Neurogenic Yoga class at Thrive.

This is not a typical yoga class.
It’s a gentle, body-led practice designed to help release deep tension and support your nervous system to regulate.

If you’ve been feeling:
• stressed
• tired
• overwhelmed
• or just “holding a lot”
this is a space to reset.

A chance to start the long weekend feeling calmer, lighter and more connected to yourself.

Through simple postures and breath, the nervous system begins to regulate, and tension can start to discharge naturally.

You may leave feeling: • lighter
• clearer
• more settled

This is not about forcing change, but allowing it.

The body has a natural mechanism to release stress.

You may have noticed it before, shaking after a shock, trembling when overwhelmed, or subtle vibrations when deeply relaxed.

This is not something we need to create.

It’s something we allow.

In this Neurogenic Yoga class, we use simple postures and breath to gently activate this response in a safe and supported way.

The shaking or vibration is never forced, and you remain in control throughout.

This is what helps regulate the nervous system and release long-held tension.

Do you ever feel like your body just can’t switch off?

Even when you try to relax, there’s still tension, restlessness, or a sense of being wired.

This is often the nervous system still holding activation.

This Friday morning class blends yoga and TRE® principles to support the body in releasing stored tension naturally.

Using simple postures and breath, we gently activate the body’s innate shaking response, a completely natural mechanism that helps regulate the nervous system.

Nothing is forced. You remain in control at all times.

TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a gentle practice that allows the body to release accumulated stress and tension through its natural tremor response.

Many of us carry stress in the nervous system without realising it. TRE offers a safe and guided way for the body to discharge that tension and return to a more regulated state.
This small-group workshop is ideal if you are feeling: • overwhelmed or stressed
• physically tense or tight
• curious about how the body releases stress naturally

Thrive is a quiet, regulation-focused wellbeing studio located right next to the train station; accessible yet discreet.

The treatment room is fully furnished and intentionally designed to support nervous system regulation:
• Adjustable treatment couch
• Soft ambient lighting (non-flicker, low stimulation)
• Storage space
• Lounge area for clients to settle before sessions
• Flexible hourly rental
