The end of an era comes today as Irena finally hangs up her ophthalmoscope for the last time. Having expertly served the eyes of Petersfield's residents for 42 years we salute you and offer our thanks. I couldn't have asked for a more generous, kind and able work partner. We wish you a long and much deserved retirement.

Good News - Our Phone Line Is Back!

After two and a half weeks and endless hours trying to get our main phone line working again, I can finally report we are back up and running. Apparently that very hot Tuesday caused a melt down at the exchange and they had no parts to fix it. I can see why they intend to turn off the old copper lin...

Santa is in the window again, this year joined by a mischievous elf, with pride of place taken by the nativity scene, the reason for the season. This can mean only one thing, we have made it through another year, supporting each other, protecting each other and offering all of our wonderful patients the best eye care we can manage. A very Happy New Year to everyone. Yes, it will get better, it just might take a little longer than we had all hoped. We want to confirm that we are still open, especially for those of you who are having problems or need help with your spectacles or contact lenses. However, if you feel everything is ok and you were only coming for a routine check, then please delay making an appointment until circumstances change.
