We're Hiring! Join Our Care Teams in Petersfield & Stroud

At Stroud House and Downs House, we are committed to providing the highest quality care for our residents — and that starts with building an exceptional team.

We're looking for Female Care Assistants (Days & Nights) and a Part-Time Cook to join our wonderful teams.

For national bee day, we had the lovely Tessa Who is a Bee Keeper Visit Downs House.
Tessa came in her full Bee Keeping outfit and spoke about all different types of bees and the difference between them.
Tessa explained to our residence how honey was made and bought equipment that was used for the residence to see and touch. 🐝 

Tessa also brought in fresh honey that was made from her own honeybees all the residents had a taste and said it was delicious.
delightful candles she made where passed around made from the bees wax.
Thank you for giving us your knowledge and time, Tessa 🐝

What a fantastic time we all had — there’s nothing like a game of bingo to get everyone involved! Lots of laughs, great fun, and plenty of excitement all round. Sid was an absolutely brilliant bingo caller and kept everyone entertained from start to finish! 🎉👏

Lovely afternoon at our care home community special.
Residents and local people came together to sing and dance with the amazing Chris Buck Music.
We enjoyed refreshments and fresh cream cakes.
Was lovely to see some new faces and as always Milkwood House Care Home.
