Goodness me where did June go?!?! We missed it. Apologies but we were all so busy that dipping had to take a back seat - but we are now back and ready to get salty. So who would like to play?!?!

W I P E O U T 🌊

Despite 2 wonderful workshops on the beach today, by 12:30 she the sea was fierce! So a tingle in the shingle it was. And we saw every weather possible!

It was an absolute privilege to have 50 people taking part in an Introduction to functional breathing workshop today on the beach. That’s 50 more informed people who are going away with some understanding of how functional breathing is scientifically proven to better their lives, and some basic tools to start them on their journeys.

I am delighted to be able to support people with their health & breathing thanks to the training I’ve undertaken - it makes me want to do the advanced training 🤩 - but for now I’ll weave what I know into my eco therapy work and see where it takes me.

Some wonderful feedback from attendees, and a lot of people wanting to learn more 🫁 🙌🏻 so thanks for having me Pevensey Mental Health Swims!

FEBRUARY DIP UPDATE
February is a bit of a tricky month to coordinate with lots going on for each of us hosts. We are trying to organise a weekend dip for you and will confirm one as soon as we can!

I love how the photos you take NEVER do the seas wildness justice - the breaking waves were huge! - so getting in and out today was tough! Safety first, always. A lot of tingles in the shingle and wave jumping today - fresh and fun! Well done to all of you that showed up for yourselves.

Wow - well, what an invigorating birthday dip ! 🥶🌊😂 thank you Victoria for a gorgeous pre dip sound bath - what a treat!

Too rough to get in & out safely today, but a roll in the shingle and frolicking in the foam was just as splendid! Thanks to everyone who came today and for the 400+ people that have dipped in the last 12m with us on this beach - be that a toe, biscuits in tea or your whole self in these waves.
You are all unbelievably wonderful 🌊💜

What a lovely morning !

Well done to Lin on her 100th dip! Lin started with us in jan 2022… so amazing to watch your sea journey and a pleasure to share the sea with you ###

And to Jo for her first MHS as a cohost!! She too started in Feb 2022 and has now become a volunteer host - Yes!! Delighted!

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!!” - December Dip!!
Sunday 4th December - 10am

Wow - a whole year of Mental Health Swims at the bay in Pevensey. And what a year…

Over 500 of you have taken your FIRST EVER DIPS with us and it has been a privilege and absolutely treat to get to know all of you. More people should do this. Spread the word.

It’s our birthday so we will celebrate with a sound bath led by Victoria from Wild Moon Collective, then dip and play in the sea and hopefully relax together on the beach with some cake, warm drinks and a fire pit. I’m suggesting a birthday dress up! Birthday bathing suits and accessories welcome!

Please share the love for the community.
Many of you who stared here now dip regularly and the sea has become a huge part of your lives. We want to encourage and welcome more people into the community so they too can benefit from it like we have.
