Last week the Kent team had their Practical Makaton Lunch and Learn session. It was a great opportunity for staff to come together for some lunch and to learn some practical new skills. Many of our clients across the company communicate using Makaton and so this is a wonderful way of improving and enhancing the care our staff can give to our clients.

We have a range of Healthcare Assistant vacancies available across our network of care locations in Kent, and are seeking kind and compassionate individuals to provide care and support to the children and vulnerable adults supported by the company.

You will work with a range of our clients and their families within the comfort of their own home, as well as support them in educational and community-based settings, to ensure they are able to achieve the highest possible quality of life each and every day.

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in one or more of the following:

· Tracheostomy management
· Ventilator care
· Enteral feeding
· Deep suctioning
· Epilepsy management
· Manual handling
· Personal care
· Learning disabilities
· Challenging behaviour
· Medication administration
· Other advanced medical conditions
