After an amazing 7 years it is time for me to hang up my scales 😢. I am very lucky to have made some amazing friends, met some superstars, had an award winner and most of all it has been a honour to be a part of each and every members journey.
The last couple of years have been hard for us all but both myself and hubby being self employed has been a tough one so I am off to take an employed role with Sussex Police which I am very excited about.
My final week in group will be w/c 8th Aug where will be crowning our Woman of the Year in each session along with a food taster, if any previous members would like to pop in please do xx

Harriet Peacock has been named our Greatest Loser 2022 after slimming down by an incredible 20st 💕!

Before losing weight, Harriet struggled to walk 20 yards, had difficulty sleeping and even received cruel abuse from strangers. Her sister Ali gave her the encouragement she needed to change her life for the better by joining her local Slimming World group, and she hasn’t looked back!

One of Harriet’s favourite things about Slimming World is that she can eat to her own appetite, so she always feels full ✔ – plus she loves the wonderful support she gets from fellow members ❤. Now she’s in training to become a Consultant herself so she can share this incredible feeling with as many people as possible. 🏆!

Our newest target members are mother and daughter duo Ellie and Nicki. Primarily it was Ellie that wanted to join after gaining weight during lockdown undergoing Chemo and Radiotherapy. Ellie enjoys working out in the gym and becoming more active since losing 1 stone 6lb. Nicki joined to support mum and to be lighter and fitter to take part in the London marathon this October. A very busy work schedule has meant planning has been key and this has meant she has lost 1 stone 5.5lbs getting to target the same night as mum!

Meet Couple of the Year winners Damian and Alison. Between them they have lost an amazing 5 stone 4lbs. Until recent retirement Damian was a fireman, this could prove tricky on occasion but Alison has a passion for trialling recipes (especially cakes and sweet treats) and put this to good use to provide snacks within the food optimising plan.

Meet Alison one of our newest target members having lost 1 stone 11.5lbs to get to her dream target weight. Alison had tried losing weight herself but in her words had failed miserably and decides to join her local group having known Anne-Marie for some time.
Alison says "Slimming World is amazing. I have managed to lose weight and still enjoy a glass of wine. I am now enjoying making home made dishes with my daughter teaching her in the process with our favourite being Chicken curries"

Meet Maryann and Phil who were voted Couple of the Year for the Pevensey group. In just 13 weeks they have lost an amazing 4 stone 3.5lbs between them proving that slimming together is awesome. They support not only each other but everyone in the group and given they are one of the most sociable couples I know they have proven time and time again that it is a lifestyle change not a faddy diet!!
