Home Instead Andover & East Wiltshire

Home Instead Andover & East Wiltshire Home Care is such a popular service that we are always recruiting new Care Professionals. Our training is just as exceptional.

Home Instead is a companionship based home care company which specialises in non-medical services that help older people to remain living where they are happiest and most comfortable. Each of our Care Professionals is a valued member of the team, shown by our market-leading annual satisfaction survey scores. The latest survey we conducted found that:

96% are proud to work for Home Instead.
95% feel motivated to go the extra mile.
88% see themselves working at Home Instead in 12 months’ time.
82% would recommend Home Instead as a great place to work. We are the only care company to be awarded two Princess Royal Training Awards for our Alzheimer’s and dementia training, which is City & Guilds accredited. Supporting and encouraging our caregivers in delivering their vital work is one of our biggest priorities. Our values inform everything we do and that means that our Care Pros know how to deliver exceptional care. The ‘Home Instead Way’ includes personalised one-to-one care, visits at a minimum of an hour, and an optimistic outlook on age. That’s how our Care Pros know that they are making a positive difference to somebody’s life. We cover Marlborough, Devizes, Salisbury Plain, Amesbury, Andover and surrounding areas.

🌟 𝑭𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 & 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝑱𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒆𝒍! 🌟

𝐉𝐚𝐧 holds a very special place in our Home Instead family, she was our very first Care Professional on the books! That meant she received the very first IQ code (something Nell may have mentioned a few times… having the second one herself!).
Jan has always gone above and beyond for her clients, taking the time to truly understand them and provide care that’s filled with kindness, compassion, and heart. She’s been a shining example of what it means to be a Care Professional, and we’ll forever be grateful for her dedication and warmth.

𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐥 has had quite the career journey before joining us… having served as a soldier, electrician, and butcher! He brought all that experience (and many talents) into his role as a Care Professional. Nigel’s visits were always memorable, from wild lunches in the woods to BBQs and delicious home-cooked meals, he made every moment special for his clients.
He received 18 compliments during his time with us including one that perfectly sums him up:
“What a real gem we have in Nigel; what a gentleman! The way he left the kitchen was impeccable, and his chopping skills were absolutely perfect.”
He also played a key part in helping one of our clients regain confidence and independence within the community, a true reflection of his care and dedication.

We want to say a massive thank you to both Jan and Nigel for all their dedication, compassion, and hard work. You’ve touched so many lives, and you’ll be truly missed by everyone here at Home Instead.

Enjoy your retirement, you’ve both earned it! And remember, if you ever find yourselves in need of care… 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥!

🌟 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐐 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 & 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲! 🌟

This week we invited our wonderful Care Professionals to complete their annual PEAQ survey... and of course, we added a bit of fun to the day!

Alongside the surveys, our team enjoyed some friendly competition with tombola, “wine or water,” guess the weight, and a fun quiz. Everyone who completed their survey joined us for a well deserved drink and catch up afterwards.

A massive thank you to Royal Oak Wootton rivers, for allowing us some space to host our day and for keeping us topped up with plenty of tea and coffee throughout.

Days like this are such a great way to bring everyone together, share some laughs, and celebrate the fantastic work our Care Professionals do every day!💚
