👩‍🍳What a lovely afternoon we’ve had baking at Arden House. 👨‍🍳

The residents always look forward to these sessions, and it’s wonderful to see them enjoying activities they loved long before moving here.
The dining area was full of chatter, memories, and some very tasty treats that we can all enjoy at tea time 🍪🧁

🌸What a lovely afternoon we’ve had today!

Our residents spent time planting seeds of their choice — a wonderful mix of vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

We’re all looking forward to seeing the seedlings pop through and to getting our new greenhouse set up for fruit and salad plants later in the year.

It will be so special to enjoy homegrown produce that our residents have planted and will be watching grow.

🌼 Easter Sunday at Arden House 🌼

Yesterday we celebrated Easter Sunday with a beautiful lunch and the best company. At Arden House, we certainly know how to celebrate in style. A huge thank you to Melody for the delicious meal — you outdo yourself every time.

Our residents and their families had such a lovely afternoon together, filled with smiles, conversation, and plenty of Easter cheer. Moments like these are what make our community so special.

Here’s to many more celebrations just as joyful. 💛

🌼 What a lovely morning we’ve had at Arden House!

We started things off with some beautiful flower arranging — the creativity was flowing and the colours were just gorgeous.
After that, we wrapped up the morning with a fun Easter-themed pass the parcel that brought plenty of smiles and laughter.

Spontaneous mornings like this really are the best, filled with joy, connection, and a little bit of magic ✨

🌼✨ A wonderfully creative day! ✨🌼

Today our residents got into the spirit of Easter and springtime by making their very own wreaths. The room was full of colour, and a whole lot of imagination.

They crafted some truly beautiful creations — each one unique, vibrant, and full of personality. Most importantly, everyone had such a lovely time together.

Spring has officially sprung here, and we couldn’t be more proud of what they made 🌷💛

Activity Day Shenanigans! 🎉

Yesterday was an absolute blast with Linda leading the way! Our residents were on top form— tackling word searches, calling out bingo numbers, taking their chances in Play Your Cards Right, and showing off some seriously impressive darts skills.

There was laughter, friendly rivalry, and plenty of energy. Days like these remind us how much joy a little play can bring. 💛✨

Can’t wait for the next one.

🥤Nutrition & Hydration Week Continues at Arden House! 🌱

Today our residents enjoyed trying fortified smoothies — packed full of nutrients and a great way to support energy and wellbeing. They were a big hit, and it was lovely to see everyone getting involved and exploring new flavours.

Here’s to keeping our residents nourished, hydrated, and feeling their best all week long!

There is already a cheeky suggestion about adding some gin to them in the summer 😉

✨An Early Start to Nutrition & Hydration Week — and Mothering Sunday! ✨

Today we kicked off our celebrations a little early, coming together to honour all the wonderful ladies in our lives. A beautiful afternoon filled with delicious, nutritious food and plenty of smiles.

A huge thank you to Melody for not only preparing such lovely food, but also for creating a warm, welcoming, and loving space where our residents and their families can relax, connect, and enjoy themselves.

What a lovely Friday it’s been! Today we spent the afternoon baking with a couple of our residents, while others enjoyed watching the horse racing.
The kitchen smelled amazing and the treats turned out so delicious that by the time we reached for the camera… they’d already been eaten. Every last one. A sure sign they were very yummy indeed!

🎉 Today we celebrate Jim as he turns 95! 🎉
Ninety‑five years of being absolutely fabulous — what an incredible milestone.
