✨️🌒 Huge Announcement Witches! 🌘✨️

We are beyond thrilled to share something truly magical with you…

For moons we have dreamt of weaving voices, spells, prayers, and shared wisdom into one sacred work. Now, that vision is manifesting.

Introducing our new book-in-the-making:
Liber Noctis — The Book of Night.
A Living Grimoire of Magick and Community

This is not just a book. It is a living creation, written week by week, page by page, by the witches of The Rising Shadow Coven. Each member contributes their own essence — spells, charms, invocations, reflections, and knowledge — until together, a collective grimoire emerges.

It is eclectic. It is evolving. It is born from community and dedicated to the power of shared magick.

Liber Noctis will be a handbook of witches, a tapestry of many voices, a spellbook that breathes with the life of those who wrote it.

This is only the beginning — the night is vast, and so is the magick within it. 🌒🌑🌘

Stay close, keep watch, and join us as we bring this book to life. The circle is open, the ink is flowing, and the Book of Night begins…

This grimoire is being lovingly woven by the witches of The Rising Shadow Coven — a circle of wise, wild, and beautiful souls who each bring their own magick, heritage, and heart to these pages. From healers and seers to word-weavers and spell-casters, every witch adds a unique spark, creating together a living tapestry of wisdom, power, and community.

Death Salts...

Forged from the union of raw Pink Himalayan Salt—the blood of the earth—and sacred Alum, the Death Salts are more than a simple blend: they are a vessel for Death itself. This ancient formula carries the resonance of both purification and desiccation, mirroring the sacred practices of mummification, preservation, and ritual drying.

Infused with the breath of the void, these salts become a threshold tool, standing between the living and the dead. In the hands of the practitioner, they serve as a conduit of necromantic current, a key to the ancestral gates, and a ward in left-hand path workings. Whether scattered in the circle, sealed within a vessel, or woven into a spell, the Death Salts empower workings of:

Necromancy — summon, commune, and command the whispers of the forgotten.

Ancestral Work — anchor offerings and open channels to the honored dead.

Baneful or Left-Hand Practice — ground workings in the force of entropy and finality.

Threshold Magick — a powerful medium for opening and closing doors between worlds.

The Death Salts are not mere earth and crystal—they are a consecrated vessel of endings, a key of silence and shadow, to be used with reverence and power...

I’m Wolf,A hedge and bone witch, pellar, animist, artist, writer, painter, poet, mother and performer living near Dartmo...
26/07/2025

I’m Wolf,
A hedge and bone witch, pellar, animist, artist, writer, painter, poet, mother and performer living near Dartmoor, raising my family in what I call our urban homestead (a suburban house made wild with herbs, bones, paintbrushes, and quiet rebellion. My life walks the edge between worlds: town and country, life and death, magic and matter.) I live with my husband, son, and a beloved tangle of animals, both furred and phantom.

I’ve walked a witch’s path for over twenty years; shaped by instinct, survival, and a deep-rooted need to connect with something older than words. I’m autistic, ADHD, and chronically ill, and all of these shape the way I experience the world: intensely, honestly, and often outside the lines. I was raised between the Royal Borough and Cornwall, and I’ve spent my life learning from the land, the dead, and the whisper of old stories that still echo in the bones of Britain.

My spiritual practice is rooted in Celtic, Pictish, Norse, animist, and Eastern European traditions, but I walk as an omnist; one who sees truth and beauty in many paths, all over the world. I am polytheistic and pantheistic, honouring the gods as distinct voices and also as part of a greater divine weave that runs through all life. Spirit, land, story, and bone are my teachers. I find great meaning in Buddhisms and eastern culture. I am a theologian and folklorist as well as having studied philosophy, psychology and politics for the last couple of decades, I feel this aids me in helping others in learning, and I do this wherever I can.

Wolf’s Den UK wasn’t born from business, it was born from need. Need for survival. Need for craft. Need for meaning. I create with what’s available, what’s passed on, what’s left behind. Skulls, skins, crystals, minerals, metals, thread, canvas, ink… all become vessels for story, spell, and transformation. Whether I’m writing, painting, carving, performing, distilling, or wrapping charms, everything I make is an act of devotion to the unseen, the unloved, and the powerful in-between.

Alongside my craft, I offer tarot readings, energy healing, and ritual massage; all shaped by intuition, spirit guidance, and years of working with both the physical and subtle body. My practice blends grounded care with deep magic. I also distil plants in a traditional alembic, creating small-batch hydrosols, essences, and ritual waters rooted in seasonal cycles and ancient herbal knowledge.

Each piece of art or tool is cleansed, charged, and crafted by hand, with reverence for what it was and care for what it’s becoming. I make no grand claims of purity or perfection; only truth, intention, and the will to honour what others discard.

This is not aesthetic witchcraft. It is rough-edged, spirit-led work, rooted in the old ways, and shaped by modern tools. Skulls may be carved, gilded, crystallised, burned, or bound. Charms may carry luck, protection, transformation, or grief. Paintings may be visions. Poems may be prayers. Words may be offerings. Oils, hydrosols, and hands may become channels for healing. Every creation carries a pulse.

Whether you’re here for magic, meaning, or the beauty found in death’s shadow, you’re always welcome.

This is my den. May what you take from here serve you well on your path.

What Feminism Is and Isn’t

Feminism is a social, political, and cultural movement that advocates for equality among all genders. Read that again… ALL GENDERS!!! At its core, feminism recognises the systemic injustices and barriers that marginalised genders face, and works to dismantle them so that everyone, regardless of s*x, gender identity, or expression, can live freely and equally.

Feminism isn’t just about people with periods or cisgender women; it firmly includes the trans community, non-binary people, inters*x people, and other marginalised groups whose experiences with gender-based inequality deserve equal attention.

It’s important to understand that so-called white feminism — which centres primarily the experiences of white, middle-class cis women — and radical feminism that excludes trans people (TERF ideology) are distortions of true feminism. True feminism is intersectional: it recognises that race, class, disability, s*xuality, and gender identity all intersect to shape people’s experiences of oppression and privilege.

Feminism is not about “girl power” at the expense of others. It’s not about flipping the power imbalance so one gender dominates another — it’s about challenging the systems that create oppression in the first place. At its heart, feminism is about equity, justice, and the belief that everyone should have the same rights, opportunities, and respect, no matter who they are.
