Are you aged 14–18 and thinking about a career in healthcare?
This summer and autumn, join our NHS Cadets programme — a fun, interactive way to explore healthcare careers, meet professionals, and build your skills!

🎉 Fit and Fed is back for summer 2025!

The programme supports children who receive benefits-related free school meals, and there’s lots on offer this year:
⚽ A huge range of holiday clubs with activities ranging from football and dance to circus skills and photography
💙 SEND holiday clubs for children with more complex needs
🏎️ Teen Taster sessions for 12 to 16 year olds, with activities like go karting and adventure golf
🏊‍♀️ Free activity sessions at Plymouth Active Leisure
🎾 Family activities for children to enjoy with their parents or carers, such as tennis and bike rides

All of this and the popular Fit and Fed on tour events will return to Plymouth parks for everyone to enjoy during August!

A beautiful and powerful theme — "Do you see me?" — it's an important reminder to recognise and value the dignity, individuality, and contributions of people with learning disabilities.

Learning Disability Week is a vital opportunity to:

Raise awareness about what learning disabilities are and aren’t.

Challenge stigma and misconceptions that can lead to exclusion or invisibility.

Promote inclusion in education, employment, healthcare, and communities.

Listen actively to people with learning disabilities — their voices, needs, experiences, and aspirations ❤️

Big news from the Clear Thinking Care family! You might not know him yet, but this is Bryn, our youngest and incredibly clear-thinking team member. He's off to Thailand next month on his first solo adventure, and we couldn't be prouder!

Bryn has worked tirelessly, supporting our individuals after school, to make this trip a reality. His dedication is truly inspiring! For three weeks, he'll be bringing the essence of Clear Thinking Care – our ethics and way of life – to young people in Thailand, working with children and experiencing their culture firsthand.

We can't wait to hear all about it! Bryn will be sharing his experiences with us on the run up to his trip and throughout his three weeks in Thailand, so you'll get real-time updates.
