Hi Stacey,
I hope you are well!
I just wanted to let you know that I have managed to finish all my assignments for the year, including my 8000 word dissertation that I never thought I would be able to do and have been stressing about for the whole year!
I wanted to say thank you for your support, as I have come so far in these last two years and I never thought that I would be in the place that I am now. You helped me to understand myself, which means that some things I have changed (like I do my washing up now by putting on some music and doing it when others are in the kitchen, instead of leaving it all to pile up for a few weeks and doing it all in one go!), and other things I have been able to accept, like that the only way I will do an assignment is by doing an all-nighter the day before the deadline and handing it in 30 seconds before the deadline, but that is okay! Because of this I know that writing essays and doing assignments and projects are not my thing, so I have decided that I am going to apply for graduate entry medicine in October, and I feel like these last few years have been essential for me to learn about myself, how to look after myself, grow and learn how to push through when things get hard, so I am ready for this next step. I think that a course that is exam-based and a job that is fast-paced, under pressure, helping people, problem solving, and I wouldn't have to sit down all day, will suit me.
So thanks for everything!
