                                            I often get questions from people curious about Body Temple Dance but are scared or nervous about dancing and moving freely. The desire to dance is there, yet so is the fear of actually doing it.
So, when I say that Body Temple Dance is for non-dancers*, I mean it.
But better than me telling you that, here are some words from David about his experiences of coming to Body Temple Dance classes with me  over the last 4 months.
“I have always been acutely self-aware, too self-conscious to dance, spending an immense amount of energy worrying about what others thought of me, rather than letting go and dancing. So attending the Body Temple Dance session for the first time was nerve-wracking, but I’m so glad I did. Thanks to Carly’s support and encouragement, I have gradually found the courage to move to music, to feel into my body, and finally dance alongside others! It hasn’t been easy, I’ve chosen to sit out a few times, but even then I’ve never felt pressured or judged— only supported with kindness and understanding. It has been such an utterly joyous experience to finally let go and dance after all this time. And with such freedom too!! Thank you.”
