Months of work just sent…..bye bye research project!
My project was exploring holistic therapy within counselling practice, which was of interest to me to consider ethical and professional boundaries and so much more. The project helped me answer where I go from here as a therapist so all in all, although a lot of work, it was so worth it to clarify my working practice to come.

I offer early evenings and weekends for flexibility and more availability for new clients. Every afternoon into early evening week days, Saturday and Sunday, I will be there to help with your relaxation or mental health.

Dealing with Difficult People.

Some people challenge our patience, test our boundaries, or leave us feeling drained after every interaction. It’s human to want peace, and it’s also human to struggle when that peace feels disrupted.

Remember:
✨ You can’t control how others behave, but you can choose how you respond.

✨ It’s okay to step back and protect your energy, distance isn’t unkindness, it’s self-respect.

✨ You don’t have to fix anyone. Sometimes the kindest act is simply maintaining your own calm.

If you’re finding it hard to stay grounded around someone, pause… breathe… remind yourself who you want to be in that moment.

Over time, boundaries become less about pushing others away, and more about coming home to yourself.

I’m still here!

This is where I’m spending most of my time at the moment face down in my counselling studies, currently my research project due next week…. I keep reminding myself when I wake up tired from working full time, studying and preparing for clinical placement that it’s temporary.

Self care is an absolute must at the moment with only 3.5 months to go until the end of my academic learning in January, I’m enjoying the learning and personal development from the course. It’ll all be worth it, actually it already is. Working towards a career in therapy full time is MY dream just for me. 🌈

Offered as a space to explore art or craft and a safe space for mindfulness practice. The benefits of art and mindfulness together are well documented as a resource for wellbeing and getting in touch with your emotions.

Please note, this will initially be a mindfulness and wellbeing pilot and not therapy or coaching.

What you might expect, a two hour session to explore different art and craft techniques which may include mandalas, small projects, freestyle expressive art, collage, decoupage with scope to try anything art based.

Sessions will be one to one to begin with and a possibility for small groups in person or online in the future.

Could this be the time for you to redress the balance in your life?

Time to relax more, play more, get outside, take gentle exercise, eat a balanced diet, get more sleep, take care of the important things and let go of anything that sucks your energy?

There are so many pressures on us all now with expectations of wealth, status, paying the mortgage/rent, juggling relationships and full time careers, family, the cost of living rising higher and higher, I get it…. I know how hard it is to have balance in your life.

Being more balanced will help you be more creative, to be able to think outside the box and with clarity, give you more self esteem by being true to yourself, to enjoy the hobbies you love, taking care of your health has obvious benefits and I invite you to consider the fact that you’ll be able to be more productive when you’re working so you can work smarter and possibly shorter hours?

Being more balanced could bring you:
