Cobra Pose is like a deep breath for your spine.
It’s powerful and it’s all about lifting your heart, both physically and emotionally.

What it supports:

Gently strengthening the back and spine
Opening the chest and shoulders
Improving posture and breathing
Releasing tension after a day of hunching!

It’s not about how high you lift, it’s how you feel doing it.
Soft elbows, relaxed face, strong foundation.
Let it be nourishing, not pushy.

Perfect for slow flows, morning stretches, or just reconnecting with your breath.

You don’t have to be confident.
You don’t have to be flexible.
You don’t have to know what you’re doing.

You just have to start where you are.

Trying yoga doesn’t mean committing to a new lifestyle or changing who you are.
It just means giving yourself a bit of time to move, breathe, and see how it feels.

Some people surprise themselves.
Some people wobble.

All of it counts.

Did you know that the physical part of Yoga that we are familiar with in the West is only 1 of the 8 limbs of Yoga?

We always try to keep classes fun and welcoming for all but we also love a bit of Yoga Philosophy. Once in a while may drop a nougat or 2 into class 😜

This feedback pretty much sums up why I started YogaBird - Karen x

"I love this yoga class, I find it hard to calm my mind and rarely stick to exercise routines but with Yoga Bird I find yoga helps me. Yoga Bird is fun without any pushy/impossible expectations.
My balance and flexibility has improved. Going back to yoga after a fall that injured my back, knee and hips really helped me heal faster and get my mobility back to normal.
I love the mental health boost it gives. I've been going to yoga bird weekly for nearly 3 years and I really miss it if I can't go.
I'm a curvy lady and after going to another class and feeling like I stuck out like a sore thumb I was very hesitant to try yoga again. I'm so glad I found YogaBird no matter what your size and ability that doesn't matter here. I was encouraged to work with my body, not worry what anyone else was doing and just do what I can do, so I feel comfortable and have progressed so much in my abilities."
