World su***de prevention day.
Every year on 10 September, organisations and communities around the world come together to raise awareness about how we can work together to create a world where fewer people die by su***de.

World Su***de Prevention Day is a chance for us all to come together, raise awareness, and take meaningful steps towards preventing su***de and supporting those who may be struggling to cope. We campaign with over 70 other su***de prevention and mental health groups under the National Su***de Prevention Alliance (NSPA).

Samaritans want to encourage open, honest conversations about suicidal feelings. Join us this World Su***de Prevention Day and together, we’ll find the words to speak about su***de.

Please be advised you may notice our carers may not be in their usual uniform. For the remainder of the week due to the heat our carers are authorised to wear plain T-shirts to help cope with the heat whilst working. They will all have lanyards on.

Carers - Please keep any receipts for bottled water and we will reimburse this to you.

Our carers are well-trained to support clients in these hot conditions so please be assured your loved ones are being well cared for and kept hydrated and cool.
