It is so easy to lose sight of the words we think & say. It is surmised that 95% of our daily life is run on habit. Habitual thoughts & worries that we drift back to time & time again.

These habitual thoughts & words are habitually producing chemical reactions in our bodies.

Becoming aware of our self-talk is the 1st step in reprogramming our minds & bodies. The words we think & say are literally the commands we are typing into Google & the algorithms we are getting back, the mind responds accordingly ..

Have you ever watched any of the bullying plant experiments? There are many!

When I started my healing journey, my self-talk was shameful & hateful 😱 I was forever name-calling & berating my body for its perceived inadequacies, little knowing that I was inadvertently adding to the problem.

We are biologically engineered for Love ❤️

Try it .. Get yourself a can of canned food.
Stand up & take a couple of deep breaths. Now start calling yourself names, stupid, thick, pathetic, weak ... Now lift the can over your head & hold it there, still calling yourself names.
Note how your arm feels & the weight of the can, or how far you managed to get ..

Put the can down, give yourself a wobble, perhaps stamp your feet, take a couple of deep breaths allowing the oxygen rich air to fill your Lungs & diaphragm ..

Now tell yourself how amazing you are. How Strong. Really appreciate all you have done to be here right here, right now ✨️ All you have survived & endured because You are Awesome ... now lift the can again over your head & note how it feels ..

What is interesting about this particular short is that it not only breaks down the benefits of fasting 🔥 but also explains what happens if you go to far 🤯 ..... Ironically I have sat down quietly in another room to pull a 'Stress-less', card & my son has followed me, 1st engaging me in conversation then talking loudly on the phone whilst my 3 year old toilet-training, granddaughter took a p**p, and I am reminded of the challenges of taking control in daily life 🤯

I honestly have no idea what Trump, Starmer or anyone else is up to, but I do know that thinking about them causes an unnecessary stress in me & that is the opposite of what I am trying to achieve. So I don't 🤷‍♀️

Recovery from adrenal fatigue, fatigue, ME, brain fog, Chronic stress, chronic anxiety & probably a high % of insulin resistance & diabetes 2... all depend on bringing your stress levels down.

Change means change 🤷‍♀️ We have to think about different things than the things that we thought about before.

You can't just stop thinking about something without replacing it with something else, and that is where these little Card of the Day, exercises come in.

Every time we consciously re-focus our thoughts on our current action we are actively re-training our mind to our desired outcome.

Without a 💯 thoughts flying around, the body begins to calm & soothe

We all gotta start somewhere 🌱 The more often we practice calming the mind & replacing stress causing thoughts, the faster it will become the norm.

Remember to praise yourself each time you practice an exercise, each time you notice thoughts stressing your body & replace them ..
