🧘‍♀️Join me for some mid-week movement and calm.

👭All are welcome, from those new to yoga or those with more experience, if you’re stiff as a board or bendy like a pretzel.

We’ll start each session with gentle breath work and grounding, followed by a series of movements, poses and balances and finish with peaceful relaxation.

These friendly classes offer variations so if you want a gentler practice you can take a gentler option, or if you want to go a little deeper you can.

I’d love you to join me. I’m Gemma, a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher. Yoga has been a presence in my life for nearly 30 years. For me yoga brings me back to my centre, calms the nervous system and helps me reconnect with myself in multiple ways. I find that its benefits are beyond physical and I love sharing these practices with others in case they too may find it helps in ways that speak to them.

Classes £10 each or £40 for a block of 5 classes.

Please bring your own mat and bring some warm layers for the final relaxation at the end of class. If you have a strap and a block, bring those along too.

It will be helpful to know in advance if you’d like to join us, but drop-ins are welcome.

What a wonderful Autumn Equinox Day Retreat we had today. Thank you to those of you who came to share this special held space together. We moved through hatha yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️into kirtan, meditation and journaling, paused for a wholesome lunch, had massages, hunted for nature’s treasures, made mandala art, rested in restorative yoga and journeyed with sounds from Helen.

Lovely participants and fabulous additional practitioners. Thank you Helen, Joy and Sue for wonderful sound journey, hall space and massage treatments.

Welcome autumn, the turning point in the seasons, inviting us to turn inwards to our inner light, to slow down in readiness for the stillness of winter. A point to reflect on the fruits of our labours so far this year and an invitation to shed and let go of things that are no longer serving us.
