πŸ† AWARD WINNERS!! πŸ†

We are ecstatic to announce that for the second year running, we are the winners of the South West Care Awards - Care Team of the Year & Registered Manager of the Year!! 🀩

Our industry is full of dedicated, hardworking people who pour their hearts into what they do β€” and we’re honoured to be recognised among them. Every day, our team puts compassion, kindness, and professionalism at the centre of everything they do ❀️

This is why it felt extra special to take a moment, celebrate, and have a bit of fun together! In an industry that’s often serious and demanding, moments like these remind us just how important it is to smile, laugh, and enjoy the journey (the highs and the lows!) as a team.

We are also extremely proud of our Sami, who was chosen to present the Mobility / Equipment Supplier of the Year - those in attendance will agree she was a natural on stage! πŸ‘

A huge thank you to everyone who makes what we do possible β€” our amazing staff, clients, families, and community. This award belongs to all of you. πŸ’«

Can we make it 3 in a row?! Here's to 2026.. πŸ₯‚

Today our team got involved in Wear it Pink for Breast Cancer Now - in aid of our lovely Vic πŸ’—

We were so pleased to see our clients and staff get involved & we think they look fab!!

Every year, thousands of people wear pink for breast cancer to spread awareness of the disease. We wear pink to show support for people affected by breast cancer and to raise funds for life-saving research and life-changing support.

Breast Cancer now say that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives, and is supported to live well. πŸ’—πŸ™Œ

On Monday, we had the pleasure of attending the Her Power, Her Play event at Woburn Golf Club, hosted by The Golf Trust β›³

We had a fantastic day filled with golf taster sessions, networking and hearing from some incredibly inspirational women that are a part of the disabled sports community πŸ’›

The aim of The Golf Trust is to empower independence through golf - they deliver structured, evidence-based golf programmes with clear objectives that is tailored to the person’s disability. They say they provide opportunities for disabled people to be active, to connect with others, to be social and to be part of a community of like-minded people πŸŒοΈβ€β™€οΈ

At the moment, 90% of participants are male - their mission is to introduce 10,000 women and girls with disabilities to play golf by 2028! An incredible mission that we feel proud to be a part of πŸ’›

What a fab morning we had yesterday for Leo's Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning! Leo came to us for support to host his own event at our Head Office, in memory of his beloved Mum. What an incredible job he did πŸ’š

Leo raised a total of Β£185.22 - a brilliant effort from everyone involved which Macmillan say will provide emotional support to one person living with cancer for up to 12 weeks, through ongoing and regular support sessions with a Macmillan buddy πŸ€—

A huge effort was made by our staff, clients and friends, all to raise funds for a vital cause. Thank you to everybody who got involved - hopefully we will see you at the next! πŸ°β˜•

SIA Rebuilding Lives Conference πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦½πŸ“ˆ

What an incredible two days our team had at the Rebuilding Lives Conference in Milton Keynes! Two days full of learning, networking and hearing from so many passionate and inspiring people.

Casey and Tom did a fantastic job managing our stand, while Kim spent the two days in seminars gaining valuable insights from a inspiring lineup of speakers 🧠

A real highlight for us was hearing about innovative projects and lived experiences that are shaping the future of support and rehabilitation. The energy, honesty and collaboration throughout the two days reminded us exactly why we do what we do πŸ—£οΈ ❀️

Congratulations to Ellie from Clarion Solicitors, who was the lucky winner of our champagne prize draw! πŸ₯‚

We've come away with new ideas, connections and plenty of inspiration to take forward πŸ’

What were your highlights from the conference? Share them below and we will see you there next year!

Our Autumn is jam packed full of client trips this year.. and we've kickstarted with the Veteran's trip to the National Memorial Arboretum πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

This trip is something that is so meaningful to our client as a proud serviceman, and that we feel honoured to be a part of! Being able to facilitate trips like this for our clients is a privileged, and something we will always work extremely hard to do - no matter the barriers we may have to overcome as a team.

Watch this space to see where we're off to next! πŸͺ©

We had the pleasure of being part of this year's Headway - the brain injury association Golf Day at Carden Park Hotel! β›³

This was our clients first day on a golf course with her new activities arm, which has been purpose built for her to enjoy the activities she loved pre-injury - such as golf!

A successful day for our team, who came 4th overall in the competition πŸ†

It was a great day of networking for our team and clients, and was great to be surrounded by likeminded people with similar interests. Lucy even got an invite from some members of EDGA - European Disabled Golf Players Page to stay in touch and join them! 🏌️

Here's to next years tournament, where our team will be after the first place spot.. πŸ‘€
