Today , saw the return to football.
The summer break was over but the sun shone down today. At some point we all go through things in life that we can only describe as unthinkable. When someone suffers a loss in their family, we all question the whys and hows but if we knew the answers life would be simple. All you can do is be there for each other at such a difficult time.
I could not be any prouder than I am of this club as I am today, even more so of this particular team. Hunter Diatrict under 15 girls. Showing one of their own and her family all the love and support they can for her, their team mate and their friend, this is what the club should always be about. A young player and her family suffering such a tragic loss due to the unthinkable we battle daily.

I’m humbled not only as the founder of this organisation but as the director of football at such a great club.

Our thoughts and condolences go to the family during this extremely difficult time.
Well Done Girls you a truly a wonderful bunch of young ladies

7 years today you decided that this world was not a place you wanted to be anymore. 7 years today I dropped the phone in disbelief hearing the news on the phone. 7years ago was the start of the guilt.

Rhys, 7 years ago today you left feeling you wasn’t good enough for this world, felt you couldn’t talk, felt it was weak & felt you wasn’t good enough.

7 years ago friends and family around the city were sat thinking the same as me …… not rhys they’ve got it wrong

7 years ago the guilt of not being as close as we was growing up and not being able to help you through the bad times as well as being part of the good.

7 years today I made a vow to myself to eventually try and make a change so no one ever felt the way you did before you left and how we felt after you were gone.

7 years ago the world lost the most funniest annoying but gentle people you would ever have the pleasure to meet.

I will never forget the memories we shared and will continue to have your legacy ran through the veins of the clean sheet aswell as telling your nephews what a complete tool you were.

Today of all days I urge you all to pick up the phone and call your friends to see how they are. 7 years ago I received the worst phone-call I ever received. It really is okay not to be okay

This Sunday our founder will be be donning the gloves in aid of Plymouth Football Boot Bank. The Clean Sheet has had a superb partnership with Luke Riggs since the start of and will be there on Sunday to support in JannerAid!
