I work with some brilliant people 😍 not only that Joe Foley sir you are a legend!

You may may remember a story…. Just under a month ago I met a beautiful young lady called Willow when she was rewarded the clean sheet never give up award! It shows willow’s story touched many people but Joe contacted me the day after and said “let’s do something on site”.

For the past 3 weeks Joe has been driving around site in his digger collecting donations. Today we were able to give Willow’s dad Lewis just under £2200 raised by our workforce towards fuel, accommodation at the hospital or to take willow away when she’s better!

Absolutely outstanding but humbled our story has touched so many! To all at KierBam at HPC… Thankyou! 🫶

As pre season is looming for season 2025/2026 - let’s take a quick look back at our never give up award winners for the 2024-2025 season!

The clean sheet awards were in cohesion with our founders 20th year anniversary within the Devon Junior Minor League and a chance to give back to a community that supports us so well.

All award winners have showed grit and determination against adversity thrown their way in a vast difference of circumstances! They’ve battled and continue to battle daily but football is always at the heart of their release!!

We can confirm these awards will now be EVERY YEAR!!

Every winner is a grassroots hero in their own right and we are massively proud of them all!

We seem to be quiet sometime but we are always working on stuff in the background! Proud to announce another partnership but this time as far as Bristol!🫶

🤝 Collaboration Announcement: LAGK1 x The Clean Sheet 🧠⚽

We’re proud to announce a powerful new partnership between LAGK1 and The Clean Sheet, a mental health non-profit organisation committed to supporting wellbeing through football.

At LAGK1, I believe in developing not just better goalkeepers—but better people. This collaboration brings mental health awareness, education, and support directly into the heart of my goalkeeper coaching sessions.

Together, we aim to:

🧠 Normalise mental health conversations within the football community
🧤 Support young goalkeepers on and off the pitch
💬 Provide access to workshops, resources, and 1-to-1 support
🌱 Build a positive culture of growth, resilience, and mental strength

This is more than just football, this is about the whole person.

Today we were able to present our 5th and final winner of the Clean Sheet never give up award for 2025! This one was may be bit more rewarding… This is Willow Pullinger of Keyham Kolts Football Club. Willow and her family were struck with the terrible news that she had to fight cancer. Willow is home for a brief stay from Bristols children’s hospital!

At such a young age just look at that smile. It was an honour and a privilege to present willow with this award and tried my hardest to keep my emotions together! I did have a little cry in the car I must admit!😩 A massive Thankyou to willows dad for letting me share this moment!🫶

Such a sweet caring little girl and a credit to all! Keep fighting willow and never give up!! In the nicest way possible F**k cancer!👊

Well done willow, your a sweetheart 🫶

Massively proud and honoured to be the sponsor of first of many Plymouth & West Devon Football League Matthew Byford Plate final yesterday at the mill torpoint. Extremely honoured and privileged to have been able to hand over the duties of the presentation to Matt’s mother, sister, niece & nephew.

Well done to Woodside FC on being the winners a team packed with Matt’s former team mates which is a fitting tribute and commiserations to Stoke who pushed until the very end.

The Clean Sheet New Give Up award winners number 3 & 4! A very emotional moment l.

A father and son duo Ashley & Jacob Buckingham of Tamerton Foliot. Unfortunately lost their dad/grandad Andrew Buckingham a Tamerton Legend last year in front of their eyes but kept plowing throughout the season with smiles on their faces for their team.

Please see a snippet of the the nomination below -

Our family lost an invaluable member in early December and his But my husband and son kept going for the sake of the boys on the team (my son included) and not being able to bring himself to “let them down”.

His dad was a massive football fan and even had his own grassroots team when he was younger, along with his dad(Ashley’s grandad) Joe Buckingham. Who has a memorial trophy named after him.

They have both been really struggling coming to terms with this as his dad was only 61years old, yet he is at the pitch cutting and lining the grass and ensuring all of well for the boys to be able to continue their grassroots journey!
