🤔Curious about an Active Mums Plymouth postnatal fitness class? 🤔

It can be hard to know what to expect when joining a new class and a little bit nerve racking too, so here’s a little bit of what to expect from an Active Mums Postnatal Mum & Baby class.

❤️ We make sure that we understand your pregnancy, labour and any existing health issues by asking you to fill in a health questionnaire prior to attending. This means we can tailor and adapt exercises to suit you and ensure your safety.

🩷 Classes are suitable from complete beginner to experienced fitness fanatic and every exercise can be adapted to suit your individual stage of postnatal recovery. They last 45 minutes and consist of a fun warm up, main circuit, core strength and cool down.

💜 It’s your work out and you can work out at a pace that suits you and your little one. If at any point you need to stop to feed, change or sooth little one - that’s perfectly fine! Just join back in when you’re ready.

🤍 Crying babies are not a problem and never feel anxious that your little one might not settle. We are all mums including myself and no one will bat an eyelid at a grizzly baby.

💚 I’m on hand to answer any questions, concerns or worries you might be having on your postnatal recovery, body or just life in general. And you will meet new mummy friends to chat with too.

💙 We are FULLY insured for everyone’s safety!

💛 Classes are a safe, friendly and non judgemental environment for you and your little ones, whether you are sporting the latest workout gear or have your partner's T-shirt on - every mummy is welcome in class.

💚 All exercise and baby play equipment is provided so all you need to worry about is getting out of the house and to class.

🩷New term starts Thursday 11th September at Hope Baptist Church, Peverell 10am. Why not pop into the church with us after for a hot drink and homemade cake?

✨Various payment options including PAYG and 4 or 6 week blocks at a reduced rate.

We’re back at Hope Baptist Church for the new term! Gentle, modified workouts from 6–8 weeks postnatal (12 weeks if you’ve had a c-section) and no need to worry about childcare - babies come too 💕. Pop next door for a cuppa after class, it’s such a lovely way to spend the morning!

Those first photos after you've given birth...

The messy, sweaty hair.
The flushed cheeks. .
The dazed, dreamy eyes (sometimes from gas and air or meds, but always from sheer love).
The relief. The exhaustion. The joy.
These photos tell the whole story in one frame.
Raw. Real. Beautiful.

Today, on World Photography Day, I want to celebrate the power of these unfiltered moments.

Because when you look back, it’s not about looking 'photo-ready' - it’s about capturing the love, the strength and new beginnings.
