Our lovely ladies and gents had a brilliant day exploring Antony House and Gardens in Torpoint! The sun was shining, the gardens were blooming, and the company was even better. ๐ŸŒท

We wandered, chatted, laughed (a lot!), and even found time for a cuppa and a slice of cake. Big thanks to the team who made the day run so smoothly โ€” and to Antony House for the beautiful views and warm welcome.

We had a truly special day here at St Minver House Care Home as we welcomed some feathered friends from the Screech Owl and Animal Sanctuary!

Residents were thrilled to get up close to a variety of beautiful owls, learning all about these fascinating birds and even getting to gently interact with them. The smiles, stories, and sense of wonder were absolutely heartwarming.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team from the sanctuary for bringing joy, education, and a touch of magic to our home. ๐Ÿฉท

Our lovely residents from Balmain Care Home had a fintastic day out at Plymouthโ€™s National Marine Aquarium to celebrate these incredible creatures๐Ÿ’™

We enjoyed a fascinating shark talk, learning all about these misunderstood marine animals and the vital role they play in keeping our oceans healthy. It was a great reminder of the importance of shark conservation and how we can all do our part to protect them.

The smiles were just as big as the sharks! ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿฌ

Ann enjoyed a fantastic afternoon soaking up the sunshine and tennis action at โ€œWimbledon on the Big Screenโ€ in Plymouthโ€™s vibrant city centre.

Held at The Piazza on Armada Way, the event brought all the Wimbledon magic to life โ€” from live screenings of the Championships to a full-size pop-up Padel court where visitors could try their hand at the sport. Ann loved the buzzing atmosphere, relaxing in a deckchair with some Wimbledon-themed refreshmentsโ€ฆ and of course, she couldnโ€™t resist a good olโ€™ Cornish pasty to top off the day

On Sunday, some of our wonderful residents from Balmain Care Home had the pleasure of attending the morning service at St Michaelโ€™s Church in Plymouth. It was a beautiful time of reflection, community, and connection.

A big thank you to the kind team at St Michaelโ€™s for the warm welcome โ€” it means so much to our residents to feel part of the local community.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Care Home Summer Fete at Bethany House โ€“ weโ€™re thrilled to share that together we raised over ยฃ600 for our Residentsโ€™ Fund! โ™ฅ๏ธ

This incredible amount will go directly towards fun outings and activities for our wonderful residents โ€“ making memories, sharing laughs, and enjoying new experiences. ๐ŸšŒ๐ŸŽจ๐ŸŒผ

A special shout-out to the fabulous local ukulele band, for bringing the sunshine with their lively tunes and keeping us all smiling and dancing!
