We are hiring for a trusted Team Leader to join our friendly, professional team at our beautifully located home in Plymouth. You will be responsible for running a shift and managing the team, medication administration, working with GP’s and District Nurses, and maintaining care records.

Ideally you will have team leader experience in a care setting but we are also keen to talk to you if you are looking to move to the next stage in your care career.
All training is provided to help you become a professional and resilient member of our team.

Last week we had Dartmoor Zoo make a visit. They did a presentation which everyone engaged in. Residents and staff remained fascinated throughout.

We have many more activities taking place at Manor House , from church visits to coffee mornings. Something for everyone.

We are holding a resident relative meeting on October 20th at 6pm for anyone who wishes to join. It will be an opportunity to gain essential feedback, implement change, along with wine and food being on offer to help keep the ideas flowing. We hope you will be able to make it.

A busy day at Manor House yesterday. A nice local walk in the early morning watching the world go by. Getting back in time for Neil our lovely singer who entertained and got the residents up and dancing. Leading into the afternoon for the gorgeous golden retriever pup who made a visit to all the residents which was thoroughly enjoyed.

We also celebrated a birthday over the weekend 🎂

Everyone is donating £1 to the Cinnamon Trust for an opportunity to name the dog. He will represent our partnership with the Cinnamon Trust and be Manor House mascot 😊

We had a busy day out and about yesterday in this glorious weather doing a bit of shopping, visiting the local pub and stopping off to enjoy a lovely cold milkshake. We managed to complete a further 4 miles combined totalling our miles to 95 miles walked throughout the month of July. 😀
