🐾Ralphie is an 8-year-old mini dapple dachshund and an absolute menace 😄—lazy, water-averse, obsessed with eating things he definitely shouldn’t (nappies,dummies, ferrero rochers to name a few) & loves barking at everything. But through all the chaos, he adores his little human brother more than anything 💙

And his owner? She may be small like Ralphie, but she’s undeniably mighty. She runs the entire unit like a true boss and is hands-down the best there is 🫶

Tilly is a 14-year-old liver-spotted Dalmatian who’s more relaxed these days, though still a bit of a stress-head like her Dad 🤭
She likes everything just so and isn’t a fan of unexpected change. Born in Cornwall, she loves pasties—but these days only cheese 🧀 can tempt her off the sofa! 🛋️

Her owner is our amazing Regulatory & Accreditation Manager, who keeps Birch running smoothly behind the scenes doing lots of important work 💛

🎁 Petmas Day 23 – Part 2 🎁

Maisie the eldest cat and the boss of the house 😼. Always demanding food, she lives up to her nickname Princess Maisie, but she’s also the most affectionate and adores head and chin rubs 😻

Betsie is a black and white fluffball 😻. She’s playful, loving, and a little feisty during playtime—watch your fingers! She’s very much Daddy’s girl and proudly his favourite.

Luna, a tortoiseshell baby, is named after Luna Lovegood 🪄. Loves chasing lights, staring into space, warm radiators, and head rubs 😻

All three adore each other 😻😻
Their owner has moved from working on the floor to another role in haematology—and she’s very missed- especially by Christie (her bestie) 🫶

Meet Willow, a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel with a big personality 😄
She’s an absolute lunatic, never behaves, and has eaten more beds than we can count — despite numerous training sessions! But what she lacks in manners, she more than makes up for in character. Willow has the funniest personality and will happily bark at anyone who dares not give her the attention she deserves 🐾

Her owner is one of our wonderful ladies in green, amazing at changing line dressings and always able to make a proper, decent cuppa ☕️💚

Meet Luna and Bonnie 🐾

Luna is a 5-year-old German Shepherd cross and a total gentle giant. She’s a big softy who loves everyone, enjoys long walks, and can never get enough cuddles — but water is a definite no from her!

Bonnie, a 4-year-old British Bulldog, is best described as a lovable bulldozer with absolutely no sense of personal space 😄 A rescue who has brought so much joy since coming home, she’s full of enthusiastic love and enjoys swimming, playing, and of course… eating!

Their owner is one of our newest nurses on Birch, with a background in oncology — and always up for a good chat 💙

Meet Bailey, a 9-year-old Labrador 🐾
Bailey loves food, attention, and is still very playful. He enjoys going for walks, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. With those irresistible puppy-dog eyes, he almost always gets his own way 🥰

His owner was once nicknamed “Lashes” (for very good reason 👀✨) and is also getting married next year — exciting times ahead! 💍

Meet Lelo, aged 4 💕 Lives in a beautiful hot country!
She’s a beautiful girl with the sweetest nature — never aggressive and always incredibly playful. Lelo will happily eat almost anything, but chicken is without a doubt her favourite 🐔

She’s also convinced that sticking her tongue out in photos makes her extra cute… and honestly, it’s become her signature pose 😛

Lelo belongs to one of our wonderful nurses, who is just as sweet and gentle as she is 🫶

Meet Kitty 🐱
Around 9–10 years old, Kitty adopted her parents back in 2017–18 when she moved into their back garden. Clever, sweet, mischievous and full of character, she loves exploring, snoozing anywhere comfy, cuddles with Mummy and Daddy, boxes, and helping out in the office or with puzzles.

She adores her “castle”, dislikes loud noises and catteries, and prefers suitcases only when they’re empty. After an operation earlier this year, she’s doing much better now 💕
This is her forever home ❤️

Kitty belongs to our incredible, passionate doctor — with Birch as her other baby! 🐾

Meet Amber, 7 years old 🐾
Rescued in September and thoroughly spoilt every single day since. She spends most of her time sleeping and, bless her, still hasn’t quite mastered the cat flap.

Amber belongs to one of our lovely nurses — newly qualified and absolutely smashing it! 👊
