A Sparkling Success: Strawberries and Fizz Fundraiser Raises £2,400 🥂🍓

We’re so grateful to one of our recent patients who has raised an incredible £2,400 as a thank you for her treatment with us! She hosted a beautiful Strawberries and Fizz Garden Party to bring friends and family together in support of our work — what a wonderful way to give back. 🌸

Neurodiversity & Diving 🌊

As part of ADHD Awareness Month, we’re exploring how divers with ADHD and other forms of neurodiversity can dive safely with the right support and medical guidance.

Neurodiversity covers conditions like ADHD, ASD/ASC, dyspraxia, and dyslexia. Some, like dyspraxia, may affect coordination, balance, and planning — which can impact diving skills.

✅ Diving is not advised if ADHD symptoms are poorly controlled. Medication can help, but divers must plan for “rebound” effects and changes in time zones.

📌 New divers with ADHD or ASD/ASC may need a face-to-face medical assessment if they have difficulties with focus, memory, time management, impulsivity, or are on medication.

💊 Only one psychotropic medication is allowed while diving; depth limits or restrictions may apply to ensure safety.

With proper assessment, support, and planning, neurodiverse divers can enjoy the water safely!
