I’m proud to have been a member of this professional organization for the last 18yrs.
BCAM was set up 25yrs ago by 27 of pioneers of aesthetic medicine in the UK. Now there are 473 full members who have passed all the examinations to be part of the only organization in the UK to represent those current leaders in aesthetic medicine,standing for the highest excellence both in terms of safety,ethics and effectiveness.

Male hair loss is something commonly spoken about, but although 40% of women will experience hair loss by the time they are 50, it isn't something often discussed... 🤔

Female hair loss is a nuanced condition often influenced by factors such as stress, hormonal changes (e.g. post-pregnancy or menopause), autoimmune conditions, or inherited pattern thinning.

Celebrating at home with bubbles. Natalie, my wife,who many of you know as our wonderful clinic manager had good news today.
She was diagnosed with kidney cancer at the end of 2024 and then had her kidney removed and has just finished a year of immunotherapy treatment. Its been a difficult year as she’s suffered many side effects and felt lousy at lot of the time but she’s kept working and keeping the clinics afloat. She’s an amazingly strong woman and I really respect and look up to her strength of character trying to remain positive at all times. I also thank our amazing team at Skin Excellence Clinics who dug deep and helped her through the last year.
Today she had the news that it was all worth it with her scan showing no signs of the disease. We look forward now to more “normal” and positive times.We definitely view things differently,and value the simple things in life a lot more. Health is the best wealth you can have!

Why is an initial consultation so important?

This is a question we are often asked by prospective patients, but feedback like this demonstrates why it is such a key part of our treatment process.

No matter how big or small the procedure or treatment, the consultation is an important part of treatment for both you and the practitioner.

First, it’s a great way to get to know your provider and make sure you feel comfortable with them. During the consultation, you can learn about the procedure and ask any questions you have.

It also gives your provider the opportunity to assess you and decide which treatment options are most suitable for you.

Finally, it allows both parties to set realistic expectations for results.
