What a busy day we have had today
Everyone took part in a sensory challenge guessing what was in the bags. Followed by cake decorating with our friends from Kenley nursery.
After lunch we had the lovely Steviejaysings.

Today at the Day Centre our clients were able to sample some Jelly Drops.
Jelly Drops is a company who have created an innovative way to promote hydration in the older generation.
These Jelly Drops were supplied free from the company for our clients to try.
After this we made bird food for the winter months ahead.

Another busy day at the centre yesterday, everyone making apple cake for pudding followed by our friends from Kenleys Nursery visiting and doing activities.
We went for a walk in the afternoon before playing garden bowls and some exercises.

What a busy couple of days we have had, planting seeds supporting Modbury wildlife action group and attending Dementia Yealm group on Friday.

We don’t just have a day centre,we support client out in the community taking are lovely client on day trips to keep them independent. Lovely time looking around otters with nice coffee and cake Otter Nurseries Garden Centre finished with a lovely pub lunch Hotel Rose & Crown, Yealmpton.

The therapy dogs are a massive hit.

Meet are therapy dog Darcie. She does wonders for our dementia patient not only does she come into the day centre she goes to meet are patient at home.We love her. 💕🫶🐶
