Would you like a better night’s sleep?

Would you like a better night’s sleep?

🌙 Can Sleep Really Reverse Your Biological Age?
Yes—and it’s simpler than you think. 💤✨

In a world that glorifies being busy, deep rest is one of the most radical and rejuvenating things we can do. While we can’t stop the clock, we can slow and even reverse our internal age—the real measure of how our body is functioning—through quality sleep.

Poor sleep accelerates aging. But good sleep?
🔹 Boosts DNA repair
🔹 Balances hormones
🔹 Clears brain toxins
🔹 Reduces inflammation
🔹 Resets your metabolism

💡Systematic Kinesiology (SK) takes a holistic approach—supporting your sleep through emotional, physical, chemical and energetic rebalancing.

🌿 From magnesium to Bach flowers, morning light to bedtime routines, SK muscle testing helps uncover exactly what your body needs for real, youthful rest.

👉I’ve shared all the tools, science, and techniques in my latest blog post.

Give your body permission to rest—and let sleep become your most natural anti-aging tool.

Is it time to tackle your sugar cravings?

Is it time to tackle your sugar cravings?

🍭 Are You Eating More Sugar Than Your Body Can Cope With?
Sometimes the signs are subtle, but your body knows.

Here are some common clues that sugar might be causing imbalance:

😴 Energy crashes – Feeling wired, then suddenly exhausted?
🧁 Cravings – Especially for sweet or starchy foods
🤯 Brain fog – Trouble focusing or feeling mentally sluggish
😬 Mood swings – Irritability, anxiety, or low mood after meals
🛌 Poor sleep – Trouble falling or staying asleep
🦷 Frequent cavities or gum issues
🌡️ Inflammation – Achy joints, puffy face, or skin flare-ups
🍞 Constant hunger – Even after you’ve just eaten
⚖️ Weight gain – Especially around the belly
😷 Low immunity – Getting sick more often than usual

Sugar hides in a lot of processed foods, even the "healthy" ones—yoghurts, sauces, cereals, dressings, and more.

🎯 Awareness is the first step. And with systematic kinesiology, we can help identify what your body is struggling with—whether it's sugar, stress, or something deeper.

Do you suffer from Neuralgia or Neuropathy?

Then a visit to your local Systematic Kinesiologist might be in order.

Neuralgia is characterised by sharp, shooting pain often triggered by mild touch or pressure, while neuropathy involves nerve damage leading to ongoing pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness.

HEALTH TIP FOR RELEASING PAIN

Pain isn’t just physical — there’s often an emotional component too. Sometimes we become emotional because we’re in pain, and this emotional charge can actually amplify the discomfort. Other times, emotional stress may be the underlying cause of the physical pain itself.

Either way, the good news is: you can reduce pain by addressing the emotional energy around it.

Try this simply Kinesiology technique:

Place one hand on the area of pain (e.g., your head, back, knee, etc.).
Place your other hand on your forehead — specifically over the Frontal Eminences or Emotional Stress Release (ESR) points, just above your eyebrows.
Hold both areas gently and breathe deeply.
Continue holding until the pain eases to a more tolerable level — or disappears entirely.

This technique works well for:
Toothaches
Headaches
Neck and back pain
Knee discomfort
And more...

You can use it on yourself or others. It’s especially helpful when someone is in too much pain to be muscle-tested or receive a full kinesiology balance.

✨ A powerful, calming tool when you need quick relief and can’t access a full session.

This technique helps stimulate the thymus gland, an important part of the immune system, and supports overall immune balance.

Kinesiology was also a major part of my recovery.

Using kinesiology to test and support the damaged muscles around the injury improved the flow of blood and energy to me heal (although my ACL is forever torn) More importantly it also made sure that organs associated with those muscles stayed healthy too.

Did you know that the hamstring is relevant to the large intestine? Our muscles can affect our organs just as organs affect our muscles. Kinesiology balances the whole person.

The ‘secret’ of staying young…

"It’s difficult to age naturally these days, particularly if you’re female. At last count according to several surveys, more than 9 million Botox injections are administered globally, some 86 percent of them to women....

All the lift, tuck and freeze procedures in the world won’t do what a good diet and select supplements can. As we (WTDDTY) describe in our latest special report, your body’s rate of aging can be measured fairly accurately by the length of your telomeres, the little caps that cover and protect the ends of your DNA strands.

These have nothing to do with genes themselves and everything to do with how you live. Certain foods are now known to keep telomeres intact: nuts and seeds, olives and olive oil, red onions, artichokes, dark chocolate and berries, particularly blueberries.

These, among other foods, are all high in polyphenols, which aid telomeres in remaining in rude good health. Animal foods like salmon, sardines and mackerel, high in omega-3 fatty acids, are effective, too.

Possibly the most important way to maintain a youthful appearance is to look after your gut. Certain hormone regulators in the gut, including some 60 different bacteria, are largely responsible for regulating hormones. And dysbiosis—too many bad bacteria in the gut and too few good-guy bacteria—is responsible for many of the basic outward signs of aging.

A smoothie is one my favourite breakfasts. Packed with protein, berries, plant milk and flaxseed oil, it’s one of the ways I help balance my hormones and keep my gut healthy.

Having regular kinesiology sessions and some supportive supplements are some of my other ways. If you would like to like to find out more please get in touch.

Second swim of the month for my 8km for Great Ormond Street fundraising challenge in March. The end of the month is going to be busy for me, so today I thought I’d double down and swim for longer. I swam 2km for the first time ever but…..it turns out that I can even feel sea sick in swimming pool after being in the water that long! Plus I’ve got chaffing under my left arm (why only the left?), I had goggle eye marks for 3 hours (where’s all my collagen gone?) and my left ear was completely water logged (why the left again?).

I have a new found respect for all my long distance swimming friends and for all of our kids with their swimming school achievements. If you would like to donate to my fundraising page for Great Ormond Street, here is the link. https://fundraise.gosh.org/fundraisers/vikkicox

“I went to Vikki for my first treatment with post viral fatigue. I was due to go abroad & was unsure if I could travel.

As a Kinesiologist, Vikki has a wonderful, calming, soothing & professional approach. I never felt rushed throughout my treatment. Vikki explained gently & with great knowledge & skill everything she was doing, although allowing me to relax thoroughly.

Supplements were recommended via email the same day and that night I slept incredibly well. I made my trip abroad & would@highly recommend Vikki to anyone.”

Thank you Sheena for this great review. 🥰
