Huge Congratulations to Nick for not only completing the "ChillSwim Lake Windermere Challenge" an 11-mile swim from one end of the lake to the other, but he came 10th out of 560 swimmers AND finished 1st in his age category! Way to go Nick!!

We are now booking for Yoga courses!

Commencing on Tuesday 9th September, starting at 11.40am for 45mins.

The course consists of 6 sessions led by Physiotherapist, Catherine Faulconer, and costs £72.00 to be paid in advance.

New to the clinic: Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Call us to book in with Bernice for a lymphatic drainage massage: a relaxing massage, helpful after removal of lymph nodes and to aid with issues such as relaxation, mild oedema (swelling), chronic pain and stress, gastrointestinal issues such as IBS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, migraines, vertigo and sinusitis.

“Injured my shoulder in a car accident. Had a number of sessions with Nick and now I'm in a much better place and have much improved range and motion.

NEWS FROM CATHERINE
As you may be aware, Catherine is away on holiday and just to prove she's not sunbathing by the pool (all the time) she's sent us photo's from her recent triathlon event. It was a challenging 35 degrees with 85% humidity and her bike broke twice, so she ended up stuck in a high gear! Great effort Catherine!

Spring is on its way (well, the local garden center says so!) and gardening is definitely great for the soul—but not so much for your back and knees!
Avoid aches and strains by:

✅ Warming up before you start
✅ Using a kneeling pad for support
✅ Lifting with your legs, not your back
✅ Taking regular breaks

What does Ostenil do?

“I cannot recommend this practice highly enough, I phoned the week before Xmas as I had been in extreme pain with tendonitis in my shoulder. I spoke with the amazing reception ladies Debbie and Annie and the amazing Annie was able to fit me in within a couple of days; she was also lovely on the phone when I got upset at the prospect of having to cancel a family holiday because I was in such agony.
In my opinion businesses don’t deliver customer service like this anymore - but Fay Pedler’s is the exception. Give them a call without hesitation! I couldn’t recommend them highly enough”.

Fay Pedler Physiotherapy is a private physiotherapy and sports injury clinic that was established at 5 Whiteford Road in Mannamead in 1988. The clinic is centrally located in Plymouth and provides therapy services to the city and the surrounding areas. In the last 30 years of business Fay Pedler has become the largest independent physiotherapy clinic in Plymouth. It has a reputation for delivering the highest standards of clinical and professional excellence at competitive and affordable rates.

In 2016 Fay retired from clinical duties and subsequently stepped back from the business altogether in 2019 handing over to existing members of the Fay Pedler team Alex Jack, Duncan Townsend and Richard McKee. The focus of the business today is to build on Fay’s years of hard work and well-respected reputation to deliver the best physiotherapy services, patient care, and rehabilitation to every individual.
