Lily spent a week with us to gain some work experience.

We showed her what we do here at New Direction Support. She spent some time with the admins who explained what they do to support the service, how the recruitment and onboarding process work and what trainings we provide to make sure our staff members are fully trained.

She also spent time with one of the Practice Champions to get more insight of the audits and the relevance to protecting our service users. They also had a discussion about support plans and how important it is to keep them up to date.

Lily then helped us to do some scanning and organised the timesheets for payroll which was incredibly helpful ☺️
