Together with Fully CATERed we are excited to launch our brand new buffet menu for the function rooms at Cafe at The Park.

The new menu will be available for all bookings from 1st April

Room capacities

Large function room: seats 37 (or up to 45 guests with some standing)

Small function room: seats 27 (or up to 30 with some guests standing)

Both rooms combined: seats 64 (or up to 75 with some guests standing)

The rooms are available to hire from 1 hour and a bar is also available.

📢 Bereavement Support Pop-Up at Southway Community Hub

Join us this Tuesday, 17th March, between 9:00am and 12:00pm at Southway Community Hub.

Representatives from Plymouth City Council’s Bereavement Service will be on hand to answer any questions about the services they offer at The Park Crematorium and within Plymouth’s cemeteries.

You’re also welcome to ask about Direct Cremations, which are available at The Park.

Whether you’re looking for information, planning ahead, or simply want to understand the options available, the team will be there to help and provide guidance.

No appointment needed — just pop in and speak with the team.

We wanted to let everyone know that a significant branch has fallen at Efford cemetery and it may have caused some damage. This is a place that means so much to so many and we are approaching the situation with great care. We have asked our colleagues to prioritise the clear up of this area and we will check for any damage.

The early spring light made Weston Mill Cemetery truly stunning this morning. A serene place to pause, reflect on those we've lost and appreciate Mother Nature awakening around us.

At The Park, we know that the final moments of a funeral service are deeply personal. Families have several choices for how the curtains are used around the catafalque and each option is there to support whatever feels most comforting.

The curtains can remain fully open

A soft white voile can be drawn allowing the coffin to stay visible.

A thicker grey voile can be used to gently obscure the coffin.

Both voiles can be drawn together for a more private, reflective moment.

These choices don’t change the funeral service in any way, they simply offer different ways to shape the goodbye. Our team is always here to guide and support each family in choosing what feels right for them.
