This morning we took a trip down memory lane with a retro sweet tasting session, sharing some classic favourites and learning fun facts about each one 🍭🍬

Bit breezy, but the sun’s out and that’s all that matters. We sat reminiscing, watching the little boats drift back and forth… simple things.

No submarines making an appearance today 👀 (not that we spotted anyway). Just good company, fresh air and a moment to slow it all down.

Lovely morning at Saltram with the men. They may not be too interested in garden centres, but they’re always up for a good walk and a cuppa. Watching the ducks and hearing them “quack like yapping women” definitely gave us a laugh 🦆🌳🤣

A lovely social flower festival today with all three units, in preparation for Mother’s Day this coming Sunday.

We all enjoyed making our own flower bouquets! The beautiful scents, vibrant colours, shared knowledge about flowers and warm conversations made it such a joyful experience. Most of all, it was about bringing smiles and a little happiness to others 🌺🌸💐

📚✨ World Book Day at Torr Home ✨📚

Today we had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day here at Torr Home! Our fantastic Activities Coordinators got into the spirit by dressing up - Amy as Goldilocks, Kate as Mary Poppins, and Gemma as a library! 📖

Residents enjoyed a full day of book-themed fun including listening to the classic ‘Wind in the Willows’ audiobook, creating our own imaginative stories, and sharing time reading together.

We went on a “Bear Hunt”, did chair exercises to Row, Row, Row Your Boat and The Wheels on the Bus with a musical sing-along book, and tested our ears by guessing animal sounds from a very hungry caterpillar sound book! 🐛

We also spent time reminiscing over 1940s book covers, which sparked lovely memories and inspired some wonderful group storytelling.

A fantastic day filled with laughter, memories, creativity and of course, the joy of books. 📚❤️

Today we took a lovely trip to Endsleigh Garden Centre and had the best time soaking up all the spring vibes 🌷✨

We had a fantastic morning of fun and friendly competition at Torr Home! 🏐🎯

From volleyball rallies to testing our aim at darts, and lots of laughter with the parachute games, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
