Hartley Park is a new purpose built state of the art care home situated in a quiet, private area in the centre of the city of Plymouth. The home has been designed to create an environment with a feeling of space and light to offer residents with dementia independence and motivation within safe boundaries. Providing care for residential, nursing and palliative care, the home has 66 beds spread over 3 units, on 3 floors

Every aspect of the home contributes to the quality of daily life enabling residents to exercise choice, help orientation and to provide interest and stimulation. All rooms have the double advantage of providing homely comfort while incorporating all latest safety devices such as electronic sensors and call bell system. Our experienced and trained staff are committed to providing the highest quality of care and have a detailed understanding of the unique nature of dementia. At Hartley Park we know our residents as people, with their own personalities and pasts and ensure that their quality of life is promoted to the highest possible level.

We have two Meta Quest VR headsets which we have bought for our residents, however we have struggled to set them up and are looking for someone who would happy to spend some time with our Activities Co-Ordinator to help set them up and show us how they work.
