💙 Young Carers Action Day 💙

This March, we’re supporting Young Carers Action Day — a national campaign dedicated to raising awareness of the incredible young people who help care for family members every day.

Young carers often juggle school, friendships, and caring responsibilities, and may face challenges with their wellbeing, education, and social lives. This awareness day is an opportunity to recognise their contribution and call for the support they deserve.

🌟 This year’s theme highlights the importance of creating fair futures for young carers — ensuring they have the same opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.

If you’re a young carer or supporting someone who is, our GP team is here to help.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

We encourage all patients to use our Online Consulting page to request an appointment, medication, or ask any general queries. It’s a quick and easy form that helps us direct your request to the right team as efficiently as possible.
In the video below, Dr Lemon explains the benefits of using this system and the positive impact it is having across all our services.

😀If you need any help:

🤳Call us and a Patient Advisor will complete the form for you, OR

🏥Visit the surgery and our team will be happy to show you how to use the online form.

Thank you for helping us improve access and support for all our patients!

More than 10,000 calls have been made to Martha’s Rule helplines in the first 16 months of the NHS scheme, helping thousands of patients benefit from changes to their care and potentially saving lives.

Martha's Rule helps detect deterioration in hospital patients early. It gives patients and families the right to call for a rapid review if they are worried a loved one’s condition – or their own – is getting worse.

Staff can also ask for a review from a different team if they are concerned any appropriate action is not being taken.
