Please note that the Sports Hall/ Functional Zone will be closed from Sunday 1st March at 11:00am and will reopen on Monday 9th March 06:00am. πŸ› οΈβ˜€οΈ

This closure is to allow urgent roof repairs in preparation for the installation of our new solar panels and to fix existing leaks. During this time, no access will be permitted.

There will also be some minor changes to our group exercise programme, so please check with reception for the latest updates. πŸ’ͺπŸ“‹

What is LES MILLS SHAPES?

If you have seen Shapes on our new timetable but are wondering what it is, then look no further for more detail!

LES MILLS SHAPES uses the following key components:

PILATES FUNDAMENTALS
Featuring the core-focused, controlled movements of Pilates for strength and stability, but more intense, with high-repetition pulses and low-impact functional movements.

FUSION OF DISCIPLINES
Along with Pilates, we use sliders (as below) to mimic the small-movement and controlled nature of Reformer Pilates along with barre-style pulses and power yoga to create a unique and highly effective workout.

EQUIPMENT
We use light weights (plates), resistance bands, and sliders (small discs which replicate reformer mechanics).

INTENSITY
It is designed to be a high-intensity workout, that is low-impact.

Wednesdays 09.30 & 18.10
Saturdays 10:00
