Simply counselling is a community interest company. We provide low cost counselling to individuals, couples, carers and families. We have over 30 counsellors who are trained and offer a range of counselling styles and techniques to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. We believe counselling should be available to everyone. We have a sliding scale for fees and clients pay an amount they can afford according to their income bracket. We pride ourselves on having no waiting list and in our ability to offer open ended sessions. Why the community needs this charity

When people suffer from common mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, stress and grief, or problems with relationships, familiy or self esteem, they are unable to engage fully in community life. They may find it hard to work, bring up their familes and live productive lives. Our counselling service is proven to improve mental health problems and assist clients to integrate more fully in the community, come off benefits and maintain successful and happy relationships and families. 2026 is a celebration of 20 Years of Simply Counselling 🥳🎈🎊

To mark the occasion and celebrate what Simply is all about we are putting together a funding pot to help anyone who may not be able to access counselling. The Simply Project 💛🕊️

This will be made up of donations from the community and will be used to make a difference to the lives of people who are struggling or in crisis.

Something to take into 2026 💛🕊️

• Try setting boundaries, it’s OK to say no, leave an event early or even skip them.
• Plan your safe exits - step outside for some fresh air, go to a quieter room or head out for a quick walk.
• Limit overstimulation by sitting near an exit, avoiding peak shopping hours, creating calm time at home to decompress.

Christmas is hard for many. Remember you aren’t alone ❤️
