A massive thank you to Devonport and West Police for their generous donation of speed guns to Argyle Community Trust! 🤩 This equipment is going to add a whole new level of fun to our community sessions!

These will be a brilliant addition to our Premier League Kicks program - our free, fun-filled youth club here at The Hub centred around football and esports for local children. It’s a great way to improve skills and challenge your mates!

The speed guns will also make an appearance in our Family Activity Zone on match days. It's the perfect spot for children of all ages to burn off some energy and measure their speed and power.

We tested them out at our Argyle4Autism session this week with the help of Argyle first team player, Julio Pleguezuelo!

Our Children's Library Corner is officially a hit! Thanks to all of your generous donations our shelves are happily bursting with stories, keeping our little cafe guests busy. 🥳

But... what about the grown-ups who are waiting patiently for their coffee? ☕

Our adult books are looking a little lonely and need some variety! If your copy of that thrilling novel or engaging biography is just gathering dust at home, we have the perfect solution:

1) Bring in a book that you have read, or that your little one has outgrown,

2) Swap it for a book someone else has donated,

Our popular 'Show Me The Money' workshop is back and is taking place in Plymouth on 9 October 2025, in partnership with POP Plymouth Octopus and Iridescent Ideas CIC.

This funding workshop will provide advice and guidance on securing funding and investment for community groups and social enterprises. We will highlight some current funding opportunities and priorities with key funders such as Sport England. We’ll cover income generation strategies, social investment, crowdfunding, covering core costs and more.
You will also learn more about our Welfare support work in Devon and opportunities to gain advice, guidance and support for your safeguarding, welfare and work to give all children and adults safe and enjoyable experiences in sport and activity.

Argyle 4 Autism is a project created to support children with autism, or for those who are currently awaiting an official diagnosis.

Sessions run every Tuesday and provide a safe, structured, and inclusive environment where children can develop physical, social, and emotional skills through multisport (4pm-5pm) and esports (5pm-7pm) at the Hub.
