At Access Plymouth, community transport is at the heart of our mission. Every day, we’re committed to providing accessible, reliable transport for elderly and disabled people across Plymouth to increase social mobility and reduce loneliness for those who need it most.

In the face of rising demand and ongoing funding challenges, our small team continues to go the extra mile, quite literally! We couldn’t do it without the dedication of our fantastic bus drivers and the incredible support of our amazing volunteers.

We know that everything is getting more expensive and we’re all trying to save money, we don’t want that to mean you can’t get out and do everything you want to do! To help a little, we’ve introduced our new Two4Ten Shopmobility offer.

If you use our mobility equipment (a scooter, wheelchair or powerchair) twice in the same Monday-Friday week, your first use will be the usual £7.00 and your second will be reduced to only £3.00. Just let the Shopmobility staff booking you in know that it’s your second visit in the week, they’ll check the paperwork and you’ll be good to go!

We’re thrilled to introduce our new Door-to-Door Retail Trips – designed to make getting out for your essentials (or a little treat!) easier and more enjoyable than ever.

Whether it’s a for some shopping or just a chance to get out and about, our new service is here to help. We’ll pick you up from your home, take you shopping, and bring you – and your bags – safely back. These trips will be region-based, picking up in different places on different days to keep the price as low as possible for you!

We’ve created a series of flyers with all the details: where we go, when we go, how to book, and more.

About Us...

Access Plymouth Ltd is a local charity that provides mobility solutions for older and disabled people to support independence and accessibility. The range of services includes volunteer driven community cars and a dial a ride accessible bus for adults living in Plymouth; we also hire mobility scooters, power chairs and manual wheelchairs at the Shopmobility scheme.

We have purpose built premises including a customer car park based right in the heart of the city centre at Mayflower East car park.

The future is accessible.
