Seeing Through the Veil: Perspectives and Perception.
Right now things are not as they seem. The veil is being lifted both outwardly and within us. The ways we may have acted, viewed things, responded, believed, is changing. Truth is being revealed and we just need to know how to tune in and see it.
It is nearing the end of Winter and amid the relentless rain, storms and puffy duvet of grey that has cloaked our skies for months, I saw a bumble bee! A bold, beautiful bumble bee flying through my garden. Seemingly a simple experience, but for me, in that moment, it was a heartfelt nudge.
Right there everything stopped. I was totally present with the scene before me and the resonance inside of me. I was filled with an energy and feeling of just being, knowing, calm, joy, magic and hope.
It was like I had forgotten the eternal continually going on behind the scenes. In that moment Nature, Spirit, Source, the Universe reminded me who I really am and of the real picture and world we live in.
I had actually been nudged a few times that week. My attention drawn earlier to a tree in the back garden, that had seemingly suddenly sprouted its beautiful, illuminous new-green leaves. A sure sign that Spring is on its way.
More importantly, it was a reminder of new beginnings within the threshold that I am currently in and within the world at large and that, regardless of anything, life goes on. βLifeβ, Nature, Gaia, Mother Earth is well and truly ok, alive and continues nevertheless.
The day before, while making a cup of tea, I glanced outside and noticed a Magpie sitting in the tree. I had a fleeting thought of the adage βone for sorrowβ¦β, but immediately dismissed it. Instinctively I knew that wasnβt right for this scenario, or even for me at all. I wanted to just admire and observe the bird.
This beautiful, majestic, indigo, black and white Magpie that seemed to be really busy. I had a sense of it sorting and collecting things as if it were getting ready to feather a nest or something. I knew to move to a larger window in my kitchen for a wider view of the garden and, sure enough, on an adjacent tree was another Magpie. They were together, busy and communicating.
In my heart I knew there would be more to what I was currently seeing.
Had I have stayed and used the adage, my perception would have been very different and actually not true.
Our world is noisy, distracting and in the middle of a huge transformation, of which we can easily get pulled into and lost in.
These nudges were reminding me to stay open. To be aware of how and what I was choosing to focus on and experience. And importantly of our inner knowing, wisdom and ability to be able to see through. To not just base our belief, truth or reliance in what we initially or literally see.
And had I gone upstairs, I would have seen an even broader, more expansive view; the analogy too of seeing objectively through the eyes of our Higher Self, our Soul and Spirit.
As we and our world go through these changing times, if we can remember to stop, take a moment and check in, we have the ability to expand our perception and perspective. We are then able to truly see and be guided by the beautiful, simple nudges and reminders of The Truth beyond and within us.
