Another long read........

Full Moon in Leo 1st February 2026

Full moons often get a bad reputation but in reality a full moon isn’t something to fear or control. It’s something to listen to.Then to respond to with a little more honesty, rest, and care.

This full moon sits across the Leo–Aquarius axis, with the Moon in Leo and the Sun in Aquarius.
That tells us where things surface and where the real work of integration happens. Think of this axis as a conversation between the heart and the wider world. Between personal truth and collective awareness.

With the Moon in Leo, feelings want space.
They don’t want to stay tucked away or quietly reasoned through.
They want to be felt, named, and acknowledged.
There’s a pull toward being real, creative, and emotionally brave.
What matters to your heart becomes very clear.
The gift here is knowing what you truly care about.

The challenge is mistaking strong emotion for the whole truth, or looking outside yourself for validation instead of offering it inwardly.

Opposite this, the Aquarius Sun asks you to step back just enough to see the bigger picture.
It’s less about personal stories and more about patterns, meaning, and perspective.
The gift is understanding.
You can see why something is happening, not just feel that it is.

The challenge is distance.
Feeling can be set aside too quickly in favour of logic or detachment.

This full moon asks a simple question:
How do you honour what you feel without losing sight of the whole you’re part of?
Leo says, This matters to me.
Aquarius asks, How does this connect beyond you?
Neither is wrong.
Balance comes when the heart is heard and perspective is kept.

Something to ponder on:

Notice where you want to be seen or acknowledged.
Ask yourself whether you want to express something… or whether you’re looking for reassurance.
Notice where you slip into logic or distance.
Check whether a feeling needs to be felt first, rather than explained away.

Let understanding guide your choices, but don’t mute your heart in the process.

This full moon isn’t asking you to choose between yourself and others.

It’s asking you to hold both with care.
When you do, clarity feels less like being exposed and more like settling into what’s true.

When balanced, this axis supports authentic expression without self-centredness, and clear thinking without emotional suppression.

That’s the quiet work this full moon invites.

Imbolc weaves a softer thread through this Full Moon.
While a Full Moon can feel revealing or heightened, Imbolc reminds us that not all beginnings arrive fully formed.
Some are just a quiet warmth returning, a small inner yes that doesn’t need explaining yet.
This is a moment for tending rather than pushing.
For listening before acting.
For offering care to whatever is starting to stir beneath the surface.
If emotions feel close to the skin, let that be information, not something to manage or fix.
What’s emerging now grows best when it’s protected, not pressured.
Imbolc asks us to keep the flame steady.
To trust small steps.
And to remember that gentle attention is often what allows real change to take root.

New Moon in Capricorn 18th January 2026 (its a long read!)

The New Moon tomorrow is quietly powerful - it isn’t loud or dramatic, but it carries weight.

This moon feels like a line being drawn, gently but firmly. There’s a sense of focus around it.

Thoughts are clearer than they’ve been. You may notice yourself thinking more practically, more honestly, about what you can actually sustain.

Not what sounds good. Not what you’ve been carrying out of habit. But what is real now.

There’s also a subtle push to act. Not rushed action, more like an inner nudge that says: “It’s time to move this forward.” Even a small step counts. Especially a small, intentional one!

Underneath it all, something deeper is shifting. Old ways of holding responsibility, control, or self-expectation are being questioned.

You might feel this as a quiet discomfort or a sudden clarity about what no longer fits.

This moon isn’t asking you to burn things down, just to stop building on foundations that are already cracked.

What helps is staying open to doing things a little differently. A new idea, a different rhythm, a change in how you approach stability may arrive unexpectedly but feel right in your body.

This is a New Moon about building from truth, not pressure.

It's about choosing what you are willing to commit to, and just as importantly, what you are no longer willing to carry.

If you sit with it, the question it asks is simple:
What do I want to grow this year that I can genuinely tend to?
Not perfectly.
Just faithfully ✨️

New Moon blessings one and all.

2026 is a Universal 1 Year
(2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10 → 1)
A new nine-year cycle has begun.

This is not about pushing forward or reinventing yourself overnight.
It’s about slowly choosing a new direction that feels more honest and more aligned.

Today is 11 January.
In numerology, 11 is linked to intuition and inner knowing.
1 is about self, identity and beginnings.
So today carries the feeling of listening inward before moving outward.
This is a good day to pause and ask: What am I ready to grow into this year?

A few gentle ways to use this energy:
• Write one thing you are no longer willing to carry into 2026
• Ask yourself what feels quietly important now
• Do one small thing that supports your body or your nervous system

You don’t need to have it all worked out.
The first step of any new cycle is simply noticing what feels true ✨️

Feeling very drawn to share this ✨️

Today's Full Moon carries a lot of feelings.

It’s often called the Wolf Moon because, in the depths of winter, food was scarce and nights were long and quiet. Wolves were heard howling more often at this time, their calls carrying through the cold air. For people long ago, those sounds were a reminder of survival, instinct, and the importance of staying close and supporting one another.

This moon is also a supermoon, which simply means it appears bigger and brighter than usual. When the moon looks larger, emotions often feel stronger too.

Astrologically, this Full Moon highlights two different parts of us.

One part of us needs rest, comfort, and emotional safety. This is the Moon side of us, the part that notices how we’re really feeling and asks what we need in order to feel okay.
The other part of us feels responsible for work, commitments, and keeping everything going. This is the Sun side of us, the part that shows up, carries responsibility, and keeps life moving forward.

Most of the time we manage this quietly in the background. A Full Moon brings it into focus.
That’s why this can feel so familiar. It brings up the same questions many of us carry: How do I look after myself without letting others down?
How do I keep going without burning out?
This moon doesn’t create tension.
It reveals what’s already there.

If emotions feel stronger, it’s not because something is wrong. It’s because the part of you that needs care is asking to be included, not ignored.
The invitation isn’t to drop your responsibilities.
It’s to stop abandoning yourself while you carry them.

Strong doesn’t mean hard.
Sometimes strength looks like listening, slowing down, and letting yourself be human ✨️

Have you heard of wintering?

It’s a simple idea.

Winter isn’t really for pushing or reinventing yourself. It’s a time to slow down, save your energy, and move a bit more gently until the light starts to return.

For many people, the weeks leading into winter are busy. There’s a lot to think about, organise, and keep ticking over.

Then January arrives and suddenly there’s pressure to reset, get motivated, do better, and start again.

So if your energy is low, or your body is asking for quieter days, that’s perfectly understandable. It’s often a sign you need rest, not another plan.

It can still feel good to eat a bit more simply, move your body gently, or ease yourself back into a rhythm. That’s care, not punishment.

Some people genuinely enjoy throwing themselves into January, and that’s fine too. There’s no right way to do it.
But there’s also permission to listen to your body rather than the noise.

To rest without guilt.
To let January be January.
If things feel slower for you, nothing is wrong!
You might just be wintering ✨️
