The NMC have finally made remote prescribing illegal for toxins.
Drs dentists pharmacists and nurse’s can prescribe for aesthetics no other healthcare professional can.
Please ensure you see a prescriber before every toxin treatment

Everyday’s a school day 👩🏼‍🎓📚💉 (part two)
The rule around prescribing toxin is very blurred!!
Pharmacists are NOT allowed to prescribe for non HCP.
Dr’s dentists and nurses it is recommended that we see patients face to face, and this is the best practice.
A poor non prescribing “practitioner”has found themselves in muddy water as they used an app to find a prescriber ( who had only qualified as a prescriber 2 months previous) a “client” went to a solicitor and the practitioners insurance won’t cover her as she didn’t know the prescribers qualification, their registration number etc. So now they may find themselves in a civil case bless them 🥰
They didn’t think they were doing anything wrong as that’s what their “academy” had instructed them to do but the prescriber should have known… 💷. You should also have at least 12 months experience in aesthetics before you prescribe!!
When being treated you as patients have every right to ask for a registration number so you can check the register…

Everyday is a school day 👩🏼‍🎓📚💉 (part one)
The ASA (advertising standards authority) clearly state no advertising for a POM ( prescription only medicine) which botulism toxin is,that is why you won’t see any promotions, pics etc on my page. If you do it was when I was naive of the rules… 9 yrs ago or when I paid a social media company in 2023 who didn’t follow my advice 🤷🏼‍♀️

My beautiful lady who unfortunately ended up with Bell’s palsy and trigeminal neuralgia after the Covid vaccine we think?
I’ve refused to treat for over two years but she’s now finally been given the all clear from her consultant… wonky lips no more 🥰 she’s been so patient and understood I needed the go ahead
I also finally did her wrinkle treatment but can’t post about that 😂😂
Lips straight off the needle today so swollen and maybe bruised?? 👋🏼 💋

I’m sure a lot of you have seen the news or social media.
I’m not going to jump on the bandwagon of choosing a registered trained injector, but what I will say is that you as patients will have so much more recourse if you chose an injector who is on a medical register.
