ANNOUNCEMENT!

We have an opportunity to run our first ever hospital fitting clinic session delivered by the Boost Team at Plymouth's Derriford Hospital, Devon, UK.

People who are interested in getting an NHS Boost in Plymouth you will need to call the Breast Care Team on 01752 431898 to let them know.

Let's show the NHS why offering more choice to women after breast cancer is so important!

If you are a member of any other online support groups and you can share this, please do. Helping us to spread the word would be wonderful - we need to reach as many women in Plymouth and the surrounding areas as we can.

Huge thanks as always for your support ❤️

Today’s set up to celebrate Cervical Cancer awareness week! 🌸 was at level 6 main entrance at Derriford hospital. I had lots of engagement today from both staff and members of the public. I gave out helpful information and resources, and ensured they all know how to obtain further support if struggling to attend.

I had some really good conversations around the importance of cancer screening, and also managed to obtain feedback on the barriers people are experiencing when booking/attending their screening. Thank you all for taking the time to speak about such an important subject your feedback is highly valued✨

To continue the awareness this week I will be at ‘the pioneers project larder- the barn family hub in Barne Barton’ this Wednesday morning (21st Jan) from 10am-12pm. If you are passing by or in the area please come along it would be great to support you! 🌸
