Columba Health Care Services Ltd is seeking individuals to join our diverse, dedicated, compassionate, reliable, and passionate Community Care Team, providing care, companionship, and support to the elderly in their own homes. All interested applicants do not need to have experience, as all mandatory training is provided.

Requirements: Candidates need to be motivated as well as a very good a communicator, and have the confidence and ability to provide care and support to a very high standard and be comfortable in working alone and making on the spot decisions for the well-being of the service users. Candidates are also required to be flexible to work 2 weekends a month.

Responsibilities : Your role as a Carer/Support worker will be to visit the service users in their homes and to and provide care according to their care plans. The applicant must also show that they are compassionate towards the service users being visited In addition to the above, the applicant will also be responsible for meal preparation, bathing, washing or showering as well as making sure that the service user looks presentable and has received the highest standard of care. As a person who will have the responsibility to care , you will also be responsible for making sure that the service user is safe and that they are happy with the services you have provided them.

Columba Health Care Services Ltd is urgently looking to offer this is a fantastic and rewarding role running a service that supports 16-25-year-old young people leaving care to an individual who is driven and can make a positive impact in the lives of the young people who will be supported by the service. We are looking for a Service Manager who can hit the ground running in managing and developing the service. You must have a track record of working with young people and experience in working with young people as well as have the passion in delivering positive outcomes for young people. We are currently on the framework with the local council and are looking for the manager to start once due dilligence has been completed.

16+ is due to become regulated by Ofsted in around 18 months' time, therefore we are looking for a Manager who can support the transition with an excellent understanding of Leaving Care Services and is willing to become the Ofsted and Registered Manager for the service once regulated. you will be responsible for creating positive relationships with the framework and developing the business as well as attending social meetings and conducting robust risk assessments for young people.

The service will operate in the Plymouth area and due to the travel required for meetings, a car and driving license is preferred though essential for this role. You will be based at the home where you will have your own office however we are open to home working on office days with other days supporting the service on location. This can be discussed once successful.
