What a magical day we had today at Meadowside and at Francis! ✨

We were delighted to welcome Wishy Washy the Magician into our home, bringing laughter, amazement, and plenty of “how did they do that?!” moments. From mind-blowing tricks to lots of giggles, it was a truly special experience for everyone.

We are looking for a reliable mobile hairdresser to support residents in our care home in the Plymouth area ✂️

This would involve regular visits to provide haircuts for both men and women, basic styling and colours for our lovely residents. Experience working with elderly individuals and complex needs.

What we’re looking for:
•Friendly, patient, and professional
•Mobile service (able to visit the home)
•Fully insured & full DBS check to be completed
•Flexible availability for regular sessions

We had such a special visit today from the fabulous Dartmoor Carriages, bringing along Peanut and Wizzle the miniature ponies 🐴

They were absolutely adorable and so gentle—everyone loved getting up close and learning all about them. A truly memorable experience and lots of smiles all around!

Thank you for such a wonderful visit, the smiles on their faces says it all ☺️

We have a lovely selection of bedroom furniture available for sale!

From wardrobes to bedside tables, there are some great pieces looking for a new home. We also have 2 zimmer frames available. Donations are very welcome, and every penny raised will go directly into our residents’ fund to support activities and wellbeing.
