WOW what a fantastic party we have had to celebrate VE Day 🎉 🇬🇧

We raised a HUGE £246.90p towards the residents fund so thank you ever so much 💙

A day full of laughter, dancing, music and lots of fun with residents, staff and family.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Lia for another wonderful spread that coronation chicken was scrumptious 😋

Thank you to our wonderful singer mark for putting on a great show.

Thank you to all of the family members that came to join us and help to make the day fun for your families.

Another big thank you to all of the staff members for being amazing! ❤️💙🩵

We are very glad that the residents faces were full of smiles and laughter!!

Now for a rest before the next big party 🎉

Today we had a visit from the year 6 school children of Plympton St Maurice. 🍎

We learnt all about their hobbies, which include making Marine life creatures, football, rugby, train spotting, diving, litter picking and dancing.

They are all wonderful children and the residents loved hearing their stories.

We look forward to welcoming them again next term 😊

Today me and Bob got the plants ready for Fridays party which are now ready to sell. We had a wonderful time. It turns out we both love to garden while humming 😂 so we tuned along to each other 🪴

On Friday we have;
Cucumbers 🥒 tomato’s 🍅 and pepper 🫑 plants for sale 💙

Just a reminder for this Friday we have our VE Day Party.

We have had to make a call and due to the uncertainty of the weather we have opted for a BRITISH BUFFET 🇬🇧

Food will be served upstairs and downstairs. This is to maximise space so everyone can eat comfortably.

Once food has been eaten, we can all squeeze in together to listen to our lovely singer Mark.

We hope… 🤞 the doors can be opened and people can sit outside if you wish to do so. ☀️

We have a raffle and also the bingo bonus ball which you can purchase tickets on the day.

We look forward to seeing those that are coming 😀 🇬🇧

A very 🌬️ Windy 💨 trip to Jennycliff this morning for some lunch. We couldn’t walk around too much but it was lovely to sit in the cafe, watch the world go by and all of the boats come into the sound. ⛴️
