Sadly we couldn’t go to the pub as it ☔️ was raining ☔️ but not to worry as I quickly went to the shop and stocked up on some 🍻 🍷 and we renamed our pub ‘staying in’ inn.
We’ve had the drinks flowing, music playing and a questionable quiz 😂

We will try again with getting to the pub in March and hopefully the British weather is kinder to us. 🙏

Full house nearly for the lovely Millie singing 🎶 for us this afternoon. We’ve had a great time and timed it just right with our lovely Ivy’s birthday! Happy birthday IVY 🎉 🎈 🌷 thank you Lia for another gorgeous cake 😋

The next trip will be Wednesday 25th February where we will be going to the box Museum.

Il put timings etc up closer to the time 🕰️

This morning we painted some tulips 🌷 it was very nice that Janet made one too as usually she likes to just watch… when we asked her if she’d like to make two she said ‘absolutely not’ 😂

We’ve had such a wonderful trip at Otter nursery Garden Centre today. Lovely lunch and buying some new plants, cactus, socks, books and clothes with some of the residents, staff and some family.
Everyone is tired and ready for a nice cup of tea now ☕️ 🪴 🌺 🌷

Bagpipes for Burns day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Burns night celebrations was fantastic, we had a themed dessert Chranachan made by Jayne, the amazing bagpipes from Cefyn which was throughly enjoyed (apart from Yvonne 😂) a Robert Burns poem read by our own Scot Simon 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 a Scottish themed quiz and then Eammon playing Scottish tunes on the piano 🎹

Now the residents are sat with a cup of tea and eating homemade shortbread by Lia.
