We recently had a request from a family to have the flag of the Parachute Regiment over their loved one’s coffin as the deceased had wanted to join but ultimately failed to get past basic training and never joined any branch of the armed forces.

Being slightly uneasy about doing so, could we ask, does this constitute Stolen Valour or is it acceptable practice?

The Kiss Of Death Statue At The El Poblenou Cemetery In Barcelona.

The Kiss of Death, a marble sculpture in Barcelona's Poblenou Cemetery. The sculpture is believed to have been crafted by Jaume Barba in 1930, as his signature is present on the side of the sculpture, this masterpiece evokes both mystery and melancholy and is a very graphic symbolism of the moment of death.
