Warts vs Verrucae

The Common wart: are firm, raised growths with a rough surface. They’re normally white or light brown in colour, and usually a few millimetres across. This type of wart is most commonly found on your hands, fingers or knees.

Verrucae: are plantar warts found on the soles of the feet. They may have tiny black dots in the centre - these are blood clots that have formed in the small blood vessels. Verrucae may be painful, especially when you bare weight on them.

BEFORE, DURING & AFTER* NAIL SURGERY💙

Nail surgery is a routine minor procedure performed under local anaesthetic by suitably qualified Podiatrists. Nail surgery can relieve discomfort from ingrown, painful toenails or clear chronic fungal nail infections.

*this image is straight after the surgery, so bandages were necessary but these are removed after 24 hours and a simple small dressing applied
